It's just a rehearsal. All right, therewe are. >> [laughter]>> We will call our our operations committee meeting for May16th to order. Let's do a roll call. Tony Sedaleski present. Karen Kriegerhere. Charlie unaccounted for, but that's two of us, so we can moveforward. 3.1 here approves the May 15thoperations committee agenda as per the attached. Any corrections that need tobe made that are allowed by Pennsylvania law to have a second? Second. Everybodyokay with the agenda? Sure. >> [clears throat]>> 4.1 approval of minutes from the operations committee meeting held April17th, 2026. Seconded. All in favor? Aye. All right, good togo. Community comments. Seeing no vetting crowds here, but certainlywelcome anyone who would like to join us to these meetings and make comments inthe future. We had a person in public come lastnight to our finance committee meeting. Oh, that's fantastic. So, here we go. We've got a few things to go over today.Unless always our educational values. Talk about meeting agenda.Um presentations, a few things to update you on the presentations. The publicschool grant we applied for for Klingers one section of roof, I finally gotnotification back yesterday that they don't make those decisions. I wasassigned We were assigned a point of contact that is reviewing ourcase, and but they don't make decisions until their fall meeting.Yeah. So, it's going to be and I don't know what their fall meeting is. Gosh, that is September, October, August. So, but that was the update they gave us, sowe're still on hold on that. Um Can I ask one question, Tony? Is the lowersection the section over the pool, or is it a different section?>> Yeah, the pool, the auditorium, the gymnasium, that whole section would belike almost half the school would get done in this grant. That's the oldersection that has leaky has a lot of problems. So, yes.All right. FCS preparations underway. We uhaligned with One thing that's not on there, we aligned with all of ourappliances and got a final price that we can order next week during Memorial Day.So, it's going to reduce our price down over $4,500 from what the original was.We worked, so a lot of work went in. Marcy helped with a lot of that workwith Home Depot and talking with them. One thing we did do is I continued towork with Barry Isaac and find other companies that do abatement and airtesting. And we've got that down from the original average price of 27.2 down37.8% reductionto 16,910 total for those two rooms to get abated. So, another 10 grand wesaved on that. So, and we're just continuing to try and find any ways wecan save and do things in house or whatever. Appreciate it. I have aquestion with regard to of thesespends, what comes from the reserve versus from the actual operatingexpense? Like, are the appliances operating andeverything is reserved? Everything is allcapital, yeah. Yes, all capital so everything that goes into thisproject, our internal electric work, anything we would spend internally, weearmark and make sure it's documented for that project so we can get finalthanks. >> [snorts]>> Includes design and everything. So, project is considered capital based onits house, so everything that goes in it should be his work.Um transportation departments continue to do some good work. I wanted tohighlight this, just another cost savings. We have acurrent fleet management system called Dossierand we already use Transfinder, so we're we're going to bring on one of theirapplications called service finder. They'll work in conjunction with eachother. I love that.>> [laughter] >> They'rethey're much more intuitive. Umand because we partnered with them on thetransfinder, the service finder section is going to save us almost $10,000 ayear in our fleet management system where we document all of our maintenanceand inspections and everything like that. Parts is so we'llbe able to go through and scan parts now and inventory and about and inventory, right? We'll be able to inventory parts as they come in. We'll be able to putbarcodes on everything, scan them, they go into the system. As they take themoff the shelf, they can scan them. Put them in what bus they use, we caneasily track what we're spending per bus.So when we get down to the end of the year and go, "Hey, bus 58, we spent thisamount on compared to the same bus, it's time to move bus 58 Yeah, right. Right. So >> [laughter]>> we can manage we can we can figure that out. It's a lot easier to track and youknow, we'll have data on it instead of kind of guessing. That's fantastic.Good. So much Much better system. Um capital updates, nothing's reallychanged on there. Um the one thing I put back on therethat I'd taken off, I put the 425 which will slide up, you know, for ourcleaners roof. That would be our section of the grant if we write the grant. Ithink we already I did too. I just want to make sure that was on there. But uh that again continues to build or slide or move depending on whetherprojects change or things like that, so. You should put on therewhat we just discussed in terms of the district parking lot.Is that on that list? >> I've got I'm waiting for quotes for thatright now. I have a guy that's going to come out next week and I'm still lookingfor two others to give me a quote. It's really hard this time of year to get apaver who's paving every day all day long to they and do quotes, cuz they'realmost all booked for the year. Yeah, the township. They're calling about thelibrary a lot right now. See if they got anybody on.Yeah, I got uh I've got one guy coming, and then I'm trying to get two more. And he and he said, "I'll come give you a quote, but I can't do it tillSeptember." He's already booked through September. What's the name of the company? Because we're looking at my community. Oncewe're looking at HBI as one. Don't tell him till you get him booked with him.>> [laughter] >> And we have been reaching out toMorrissey. Yep, sure. And you tell him that you you're not waiting, and thatyou want it, right? Because Morrissey has done two projects for us. Yeah.Right? Yeah. No, they don't They do most of the roadwork around here, too. They do good work. All right, the three projects wedid the transportation I believe so, too. We did Lot College. We did Corner, right? So, I'm going to gainas a treaty war. And you've seen this. This is uh IT's capital updates. This iswe So, we built those in. And then the other one I'm building, and we want tolook at is we have a we've had before is a long break long-range projection onvehicles busestrucks, vans, you know, what that extends like this. And I want to buildthat one so we can complete that, also. Our little um red corner here for ourexpense, remember that's because of E-rate. So, we start with a big number, but based on what our E-rate can be, and again, that's dependent on our freereduced lunch population. So, it is what it is, but it feels important to notethat that that's your market million cuz we have to, just in case nothing happenswith E-rate, but hopefully much less. So, to the meat of it, I'm going to gota few things to be presented to the board that we'd like to take forward. So, the first two are IT's, so I'll let Kristen talk to those. Okay. So, we kindof put all of our professional development chips into one bucket thisyear. I think in previous years, we've done manager of technology has gone oneplace, data assessment specialist has gone another, myself has gone another, and these have sometimes been out of state professional developmentopportunities. It's just the nature of technology thatyou know, we don't necessarily have as many localopportunities if we're talking about things like cybersecurity. And sosometimes we are going to Chicago or Orlando. Instead of doing that travelthis year, we'd like to put all of our kind of chips into one bucket for theentire central team. We're going to do something called penetration testing, pen testing, um which is a cybersecurity exercise. We basically get a big auditof our system. Um it shows us where our weaknesses are. We get to sit down as ateam, do a gap analysis, and then make the system better. Um so that's thefirst thing we're kind of pushing forward as a centralized team of sixindividuals there. And then the second thing is you sawthat project about the access points will come up next year. We need to doone year extension of our service warranty. We were working off of twodifferent contracts. You're going to love this. The company's name is RFP.Why would they do that to us? Thank you so much. Um so with RFP the company, wehad two different service license with them, one a 2019 five-year agreement, one a 2022 five-year agreement. They, to kind of service all of our access pointand switches, had co-termed some of the licenses we had. We're just at the endof the cycle of of licenses that we have available. We need a one year extensionto get us to the access point project for next summer. Those are mine. Questions? I'll get I'll turn it back to you forfood and nutrition. That's not my Yeah, you want to hear about food andnutrition? So [laughter] talk about I know you'refamiliar with the bus project about mobile feeding. So we want to take thatforward for approval. All those funds obviously come out of the the foodservice department. So they not to exceed $7,000.She's even going to pay out of her budget the time and the driver costsbecause there'll be a driver each day that does it. So, even that we're notpaying a driver out of operations or anything so that's just to cover that. So, we're going to take that forward. I think it's a great idea. I think itlooks it's pretty cool. It's a really important idea this year as we talkedabout at the last meeting that they're going to be audited this year the foodservice program in the summer, right? We do need to show a best effort to havethem eating on site, right? Have we done anything in terms of the study aroundwhich schools are not being used for anything other than this?Um because there was this discussion thatthere were two schools I think that were said were only being opened for the foodprogram for the summer. I don't know. The only ones that are used are the onesthat are open, right? So, Donald and William Tenney, Klinger,uh Log College are closed entirely. There's no activity at those exceptoutside. Um but no, they are not. We use thosetwo. We also bring food to the from McDonald to Davisuh to support their program they have going on during the summer at the highschool. But I think the park boat thing is cool idea. It is great idea. Yeah. So, and that could be flashy and you know what I said towhere I want to make sure that the board knows it. Do some videos.Kids at the parks coming to get lunches and stuff like that. Do you do you de-remove everything that you're supposed to remove and then put it back in andthen put it back in the next summer again? We could. This is a bus. We haveIt's I don't I don't think you've been here since we talked about buses. Wehave six 65-passenger buses that are reallytowards the end of their life cycle. Cycle. Like we don't use them every dayfor a morning afternoon run because they're not as great They're we can't Wedon't want to wear them out. So, what we use those for is sports runs that areone time here, one time back during the day, off and on. So, we have multiple ofthose. We can transfer one of these buses and not need itthe next year for that because we have multiple others. And it runs reallywell. It's just you know, it it's the wrap will do itsome good. It'll look beautiful. It you know, but there we have multiples to useso we won't have to go through that process. We could, obviously, if weneeded it, we would. But we don't we try to find a bus that we would not have toconvert back and then put back and all that stuff. So, but there's a little bitof thought that went into it by the transportation department. So,okay. All right. And then the second one isthere umfood food service managers are requesting to go to Lancaster on athree-day, two-night um staff and food and nutrition conferencein Lancaster. So, it's $900. Just so you know, and that's again paidout of food service. Okay. So, and then this isthe renewal of our Siemens Industry uh building automation system three-yearcontract and with these systems, they're proprietary. There's not We don't have an option to go to someone else. Siemens did theinstallation. Siemens owns the licenses. They own everything to it. We would haveto go back and design a whole new system if we didn't takethis on unfortunately, you know. So, that's So, this is something that has toreally move forward, but uh obviously, it needs approval. Okay. And then we have two reduction of costrequests uh and four facilities use.And have history of use Are you aware of how wedo reduction of costs for like school facilities or anything like that? So, ifsomebody requests that they come in and these are all based off of a calculationby our our policy. If someone comes where Mr. Basketballwants to use 100% of their students are um Warminster or Centennial SchoolDistrict or residents, they get that re- the largest reduction. If I and Idon't know the percentage as Marci presents it, if 70% of them are, we givethem a less reduction. So, both these calculations are based off of a policy. They aren't just "Hey, let's just give them a reduction." So, there Marci goesthrough and reviews it all, calculates the percentage of kids that are areresidents in those programs and then gives them. So, that's why we move themforward of fourreduction of costs. Okay. And I believe that's it. Any issues with moving any of these? No.Okay. They can move to these. We do have a question. Um Dr. Lukabu last nightbrought up their system. Yeah.He talked to them. This is on a video.>> Yeah, well. Okay. Yeah, no questions. No questions?>> Set. All right. >> [clears throat]>> Motion to adjourn. Second.Okay. So, now I can ask. Uh hang on.>> Turn it off. No, we're not yet. >> [laughter]>> I'm going to go back to this team. Thank you.>> That one? Yep. And >> Sorry.>> Yep. Now it's [laughter] Thank you. And
