[0:01] A fun one here tonight at Fogerty Arena [0:03] as the AIO Park Center Stars took on the [0:06] Blaine Bengals on North Metro TV. And in [0:09] the first period, it was kind of a [0:12] scoring fest, especially early on. [0:15] Getting on the board quickly was Maya [0:16] Gunter. 5 minutes into the game, a quick [0:19] score. Quickly answered a couple minutes [0:20] later by OPC by Charlotte Ole, who's [0:24] their leading scorer. She was able to [0:26] knock in her 13th of the season. Towards [0:28] the end of the period, a chance there [0:29] from Mila Lindholm on the power play and [0:32] it was two to one Blaine after one. [0:34] Second period, a little greasy goal on [0:36] the power play from Dakota Mccalpine as [0:38] she was able to knock that in. We're [0:39] tied at two and then it's a lot of back [0:41] and forth near misses from both sides. [0:44] Each team had 26 shots on goal tonight. [0:47] And there you see a lot of those chances [0:48] right there. But finally late in the [0:49] third period things happen. Cole Johnson [0:52] able to find Kaipek the young freshman [0:55] and we're up three to2 the Blaine [0:56] Bengals. Now third period. Here's Abby [0:58] Costa. We're thinking this is a big [1:00] chance for the Blaine Bengals. Watch her [1:01] stick handle here and just had that one [1:03] knocked away by the goalender Gianna [1:05] Chiota. Fantastic night for her as well. [1:08] Both sides exchange opportunities. This [1:10] was a good chance for OPC late in the [1:12] game. And then finally they had to pull [1:14] their goalie. Things happened a little [1:15] late. Blene took the last opportunity [1:17] with 30 seconds to go. They punch in the [1:19] empty netter from Maya Gunter and they [1:21] win it 4 to2 tonight on North Metro. [1:26] Um, we are very well gelled. We have a [1:28] lot of chemistry. Um, during the first [1:31] practice, we could just tell that this [1:32] is going to be a great year. It's going [1:34] to be a great team. Everything everyone [1:36] worked together well and it was [1:37] everything just went great.
