Charlotte Ole this year [7:15] 12 goals, four multi-goal games this [7:17] season. She has been the leading goal [7:19] scorer by a lot. She's got really good [7:21] speed though on that line with her and [7:22] they have proven to be a problem for [7:24] most teams that they have gone against [7:26] this season. Look for her to have an [7:27] interesting night tonight. On the other [7:28] side for Blaine, it's Kaia Pek. They [7:31] have the two leading goal scorers in [7:32] front of her, but Kaia Pek's a freshman [7:34] and she's playing fantastic. Third on [7:36] the team in points, leads the team in [7:38] assists. She's been setting the table [7:40] nicely for those two leading goal [7:42] scorers who are just juniors as well in [7:44] Johnson and Costa. She has [10:12] been one of the stalwarts of this team [10:15] over the last handful of years. [10:18] and she was under duress the other night [10:20] against Centennial. You're the team leader in [119:03] assists. That started right away on that [119:04] first goal. Let's start with that. Let's [119:06] start with kind of how we started as a [119:08] team tonight. You were able to get us [119:09] involved early on. [119:11] >> Yeah. Um we were able to just get hyped [119:13] up in the locker room and able to just [119:17] like make sure we had goals and just [119:19] play our best, make sure just we had [119:21] fun. [119:22] >> Talk about your goal that you got in the [119:24] second period. That was late in the [119:25] period. It felt like OPC had some [119:27] momentum on their side. Then you got [119:29] that opportunity there with Kia Johnson [119:31] to get that goal. Talk about that goal. [119:32] >> So, we had a girl going down the We had [119:35] three going down the ice on threeon-one [119:38] and goalie was driving left and I just [119:40] went to the net. Beautiful pass to the [119:42] defense and one time it in. It was very [119:44] nice. [119:45] >> Those are always fun, right? That that's [119:46] awesome. Now, as a freshman, I have to [119:48] ask you, this is a young team, but you [119:49] don't you don't seem to play like a [119:51] freshman. You don't seem to be rattled [119:52] by this varsity stuff. You seem super [119:54] comfortable. Uh, is this been a good Is [119:57] that part of the team strategy or has [119:58] that just been how the team is? They're [120:00] they're well jelled. talk about that a [120:01] little bit. [120:02] >> Um, we are very well gelled. We have a [120:03] lot of chemistry. Um, during the first [120:06] practice, we could just tell that this [120:08] is going to be a great year. This is [120:09] going to be a great team. Everything [120:11] everyone worked together well and it was [120:12] everything just went great. [120:14] >> Okay, last question for you. 611 and [120:16] one, but this team looks like they're [120:17] starting to kind of hit their stride [120:19] here a little bit. As you kind of wind [120:21] your way towards sections, where are you [120:23] seeing your team? Where are you seeing [120:25] yourself? How do you feel like this is [120:26] coming together at the end? [120:27] >> I can see us going to state. We [120:29] definitely can make it there. [120:31] >> Love that energy.
