All right, it is 5:30, May 19th, 2025. I'd like to call the meeting to order with roll call. Burger here. Carter here. Catherine here. Johnson here. More here. Thomas here. Whiskus here. At this time, I'd like to welcome any visitors we might have. Nothing. Zooming in here. All right, we're moving on to item three, approval of the agenda. Move to approve. Second. We have a motion to approve the agenda. All those in favor signify by saying I. Oppos. Same sign. We have the agenda approved. We don't have any old business. New business. Approve the tenative Ca Centerville Community School District master contract agreement pending ratification by the CEA. And I was informed that uh that was ratified today. Oh, good. So, we're in good shape. And I I do just want to say two people on schedule D got in there that need to be taken off. Addison Wester camp for volleyball and Ricky Grammer for student council. Those were resigned and we didn't get them out there. Move to approve. Modifications. Sorry. I try to get in there real fast for anybody else. Moved and moved. Moved and seconded to approve the tenative agreement. All those in favor signify by saying I. I. oppose. Same sign. Motion carries. Item B, approve the 2526 salary increase, administrators, director, salary, positions, and support staff. So, there are a few things to call out with this just to make sure that I've got that all together for everybody. Um, the just to talk about the amounts. So, our percentage with the teachers was 3.51. So for your administrators, director salaried positions, that would be the increase for them. For support staff in most categories, um not only did we do the 3.51%, but we also added um and it says a dollar increase, but that's actually to be a dollar an hour increase. Um otherwise, it's all good. We've just talked about that. We'll make sure everyone they have that. So, it's a dollar an hour increase, which this will be the second year we've been able to do that, which gets us so much uh higher in the area range from where we started a couple few years ago. So, I feel really good about that increase. Um, at least I ran a lot of numbers to make sure we could do that today and and uh we're confident that that'll be that'll work out for us in the long range. And that'll be a nice increase to let our non-certified folks feel a little bit more take-home money next year. and and go from there. We will look to talk about insurance because remember last year we approved a $25 increase for each year uh for last year and this year. So we'll look to make sure that we we'll officially approve that on the June meeting um so that we're in good shape on that and we'll just keep working on chipping away at some of those salary things that we've been wanting to chip away at for this last few years. Move to approve. Second. We have a motion and a second to approve the 25 25.6 salary increase. All those in favor signify by saying I. I. Oppose. Same sign. Motion carries. We're down to a journ. What? No seat. Wait, whoa, whoa. No seats. Okay. Move to a journ. No. No. I'm sorry. I did not understand this. I thought C was a separate thing. Okay. Can we go back? Did I screw this up, Mr. We just didn't have anything for C? Well, yeah. C is just a personal business proceed. Yeah. So, B, I think you were looking. Oh, so since that's approved, we cannot. I can we can revote. We don't know. Can we revote? I just was really impressed. C was the was Yeah, we were going to separate C. Well, okay. Would that be under contracts? Says employment contracts is what it says. Those are are those new contracts? Traditionally, those are anything that's new that's not already for C. Yeah, that's if we bring a resation, a transfer, or a contract or a due contract. Yeah. Do we have any of those? No, we don't. We screwed this up. Did you um Did you vote on B? Yeah. Yeah, we just voted on. Yeah, we did. Okay. I sort of pre-conference. We thought I I thought it was under C. I apologize. It's all right. I mean, it is what it is. Okay. You mean a motion to reconsider? Is that How about that? Can we make a motion to reconsider? I would like to make a motion. I got to see if we can. Okay. Why are we What are we reconsidering? It'll be evident. What's that? It will be evident if we get If not allowed to, then allow. This is pretty unusual. Yes, it is. Motion to reconsider is in Robert's rules. It would require have to vote. has two parts. First, a member moves to reconsider. If there's a second, the motion is taken up. Second, it can be done by any member regardless probably voted on the motion to be reconsidered. Uh, one particular one peculiarity of this motion is that while it can be made at any time, it can be processed only when no other business is pending. So, that would be at the end of the meeting. The end of the meeting. Um, yeah, that would Yes, I don't want to. We're check. So, your motion would be to reconsider item B. First of all, we have a motion on the table to adjourn. So, we first have to deal with that procedure. Okay. Who did that? I'm sorry. I did that. I move to adjourn. Was there a second? I don't know. But it's that motion is still on the table. So that has to still on the table. It could die for lack of a second. That is correct. Seeing no second. Motion has died. Carol motion to reconsider. It looks like it's Roberts allows it. Okay. I would like to make a motion to reconsider item C or B. Item B. Item B. I'm sorry. I totally have C on my mind. That's okay. So, we have a motion. We have a motion to reconsider item B. Second. Okay, we have a second. All those in favor of reconsidering item B signify by saying I. I. I. Oppose. Same sign. I need a show of hands in order to determine. Those in favor of the motion, raise your hand. Two. Caroline, you're in favor of the motion, right? I'm in favor of the motion. You just bury. So that's that's three. Those opposed to the motion. Show hands. Four. Four to three. Motion did not carry. Item B stands as original. Okay. I am ready to adjourn at this. So move second. We have a motion and a second to adjurnn. All those in favor signify by saying I. Oppose. Same sign.
