So, if the tax increment financing district were to lapse because of this 5-year rule, we would go forward with a future tax increment financing district, but we would be receiving less money from the parcel because it now has less value if we went to reertify a tax increment financing district. So really what this is doing is this is just allowing us that extra time to kind of keep that base fee up, make sure we're receiving the amount of money as if the property still at a strip mall and then going forward uh similar to other tax financing districts.
I mean this isn't a bad thing. Oh goodness. you know, this is actually a good thing that we have a demand from our community and from, you know, to open our school to these grades. The problem is is we just don't have the space.
That's correct. Because at North Park, for example, we've got two teachers per grade level at grades 2, three, four, and five. And so we know that we by law we can't close the the building or those grade levels because there is space physical space in the building. What we were required to do is add a teacher.
