I just want to point out that MSHSL does provide insurance. I mean, for, you know, kids who have injuries and things like that that are covered in that 9th through 12th grade um areas. So, I mean, not only is it providing structure, but it's also providing a benefit.
And I I just wanted you guys to know that if you didn't know. Thank you for that. I appreciate it, Laura. Um, and I'd also like to further point out that um, this is the only um, organization to actually have our students be able to compete in and be able to have these opportunities. There are no other ones.
The reason I ask is because when I sign off on things, it's typically to the high school, and I know that for districts with um multiple high schools in their district, each high school receives a like approval thing.
I just want to point out that our our work session we did discuss um the contracts and and look at the and it was provided in our Friday packet. So, we should be aware of what is in it. Um, and I just think we had an a very good discussion during that time and this this contract I felt and I I know that others may have a different opinion, but I felt like it was pretty reasonable.
I would just note too that part of our um, review of all of these contracts is looking at um, sort of what is equitable across employee groups too. And so that's always something that we we think about.
The Minnesota Department of Education requires that school districts annually designate an identified official with authority to comply with state access control security standard one. uh that states that all user access rights to Minnesota state systems must be reviewed and reertified at least annually.
I just have a question. Um, so the MDE servers and stuff you're accessing or you're assigning who can access it. It does mention external users you actually would assign to. Who are our external users that might be able to go into our data?
