Elementary ELA Curriculum Selection Update
The Principal reported that elementary teachers, Mrs. Ridpath, and Mrs. Barlow visited Shickley and EMF schools to observe their Reading curriculums. This is part of the process to decide the best option for Dorchester, with a choice expected soon to ensure materials are ordered and delivered for the next school year.
Establishment of Threat Assessment Team
The Principal reported the official formation of a Threat Assessment Team comprising Deputy Warning, Mrs. Josoff, Mr. Kotas, Mrs. Bird, and herself. The team has completed initial online training modules and is scheduled for further Zoom training on March 19th, with plans to meet monthly.
