Did you know that there is a recycling center located in Columbia Heights? The Columbia Heights Recycling Center is available to residents and area businesses at no cost. The recycling center is located at 3801 Madison Street Northeast and is open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. excluding holiday weekends. The recycling center is staffed by volunteers from the Columbia Heights Fidley Kuanas Club. The recycling center accepts items such as used oil, metal, glass and plastic containers, scrap metal, plastic bags, and bicycles.
