A first-of-its-kind shelter in Anoka County has opened its doors! In June, shelter staff, volunteers and community leaders gathered to celebrate the milestone at Family Promise in Anoka County, located at 363 Coon Rapids Boulevard. The new Family Promise Guest House provides shelter for up to eight families at a time. Each apartment unit has beds, a bathroom and its own kitchen. There is also community space for laundry, family activities, workshops and more.
