## Call to Order
Mayor Ostwald called the City Council Meeting of August 10, 2026, to order at 7:00 p.m.

## Approval of Proposed Consent Agenda
There was not a motion to approve the consent agenda. The items from the August 10, 2026 Consent
Agenda will be approved at the August 24, 2026 City Council Meeting.
## Approval/Receipt of Minutes
1. Approve the Minutes from the City Council Meeting of July 27, 2026.
2. Receive the Minutes from the City Council Conference Meeting of July 27, 2026.
3. Receive the Minutes of the Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting of June 1, 2026.
## New Business
4. Resolution No 2026-89, Authorizing a Local Climate Action Grant from the Minnesota Pollution
Control Agency for an Electric Vehicle Charger at Commons Park.

Open Forum, Visitors: (Consideration of Items not on Agenda – 15 minutes.)
Derek Lind, Anoka County Election Integrity Team (ACIET), provided the Council with a 15-page packet
with information related to Federal EAC certification of the voting tabulators. He asked the Council to
read through the information he provided and noted a recent interview of a County Commissioner on
this topic.

Councilmember Vescio noted the upcoming Touch a Truck event that will take place on August 18
th
.
Councilmember Cardona thanked all residents, staff, and public safety staff who participated in Night to
Unite.
Councilmember Bolkcom echoed those comments and noted that people were happy and happy about
the parks. She noted the upcoming concert at Springbrook on August 11
th
. She thanked all the block
captains who assisted in setting up the parties, as well as City staff.
Mayor Ostwald noted the upcoming Our Leaders are Readers event and stated that he will be reading a
book at City Hall.
## Adjourn
Motion made by Councilmember Vescio to adjourn. Seconded by Councilmember Cardona.
Upon a voice vote, all voting aye, Mayor Ostwald declared the motion carried unanimously, and the meeting
adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
