Minnesota’s push to meet federal anti‑fraud requirements has created challenges for thousands of service providers and for the vulnerable Minnesotans who depend on them. Around 60% of Minnesota’s Medicaid providers offering high‑risk services were dropped from the state’s program because of the Department of Human Services' revalidation efforts. At a Senate Human Services Committee meeting, Senators asked DHS leadership for answers, while people affected by those disenrollments talked about their experiences as a result of those actions.
