[Music] Second graders in Miss Humphrey's class at Lake Aerys use a scavenger hunt to practice our spelling words for the week. We located words, hidden around our classroom, and wrote them out. We also went outside and practiced writing the words with chalk. Go Bears. >> High school students are making final preparations for next week's homecoming events. The committee is hard at work designing posters for the various theme days and activities. Go Bears. >> Lincoln Elementary's garden club held their first meeting of the school year this week. The afterchool activity teaches the importance of caring for a garden, how to harvest produce, and what pollinators do. We are having so much fun exploring our new school garden. We picked several baskets of fruits and veggies, then washed and chopped them to make a salad. Go Bears.
