White [music] Bear Lake Area High School students who are members of the Black Student Union are helping to host a Martin Luther [music] King Junior Holiday Breakfast from 8 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 19th at the high school. Students, staff, and community members gather this week to discuss final preparations. This event planned in partnership [music] with three local churches has been an annual event in recent years and features several speakers and student performances. [music] Go Bears. Preschoolers across the district took part in a clothing [music] unit this week. Students at Tamarack learned how clothing is made and had the opportunity to sew their own neck warmers [music] to keep warm when playing outside. They also learned how different animals stay warm in the winter. Go Bears. Throughout this [music] trimester, area learning center students have been dedicated to developing skill and confidence in writing. To conclude the unit, we are crafting [music] personal brand essays which are compelling narratives designed to articulate our unique strengths and professional skills to college admissions [music] departments and prospective employers. Go Bears.
