We have a motion to approve these minutes. >> I'll make the motion to approve the minutes as written. Commissioner Perl made a motion. Do we have a second? I'll second. Commissioner Carlson second it. Is there any discussion? >> Yeah, my name is spelled wrong. >> What? >> Where? >> It's an E N because >> if it's an O, it's a sweet and I'm no sweet. >> Which page is that on? Thank you. >> Okay, with this amendment, >> the motion think we're on item four. >> Well, we skipped one. >> No, he's okay. >> Just Yeah, we got to go backwards a little bit. Yeah. Uh, yeah. Do we have a motion for that? >> And a second. >> The meeting agenda. Okay. The meeting agenda. >> Okay. Hold on. >> You asked for a motion for the minutes. I approved it and it was seconded. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> But then that is actually item number six. So, we need to do number four and then number five. How come I got 126 going for that? Six is or number six is last December's meeting. >> Yes. Then we just approved that minutes. >> We approved that. >> That's what you asked for. We approved it. >> Changing of Jorgensson's class name. That's approved. So now we got to go through amendment 9 minutes, right? >> Yes. >> 127. >> We didn't finish. >> We didn't vote on it. We're voting at number six. No. All in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed. Motion carries. Uh now we'll go to the approval or amend from December 20 minutes for one 27 2026. So I make motion to approve it. I'm confused on which one we're on. >> I will make the motion to approve the meeting agenda for today. >> Okay. So number four. >> I'll second the motion. >> Okay. Any discussion? >> All in favor say I. I. Hi. >> Okay. I got I was a little confused. I I thought I was >> We're back on track now. We're on We're on number five. >> Okay. Now, the the 1926 meeting agenda is on the back of our schedule here. This year is the first year we've ever had in my 50ome years that we've ever had a meeting in December. >> Oh, I know. >> So, But I just stating that that here's a list for the whole year and unless there's a special meeting. If there's any special meeting, >> I'll make a motion to approve the dates for the 20 26 meeting. >> Okay. It's already been it's already been city council, city council already approved it, >> right? >> I'll make a second to approving these dates. >> Yes, we we did approve. >> It's already been approved. >> It's already been approved. Okay. >> So that's just a statement. It's not. >> Okay. The next thing they have on agenda here is no public hearing. Is there any other things? Okay. We'll go on to the only decision we have tonight is our draft policy of planning and joining and uh go to our plan. I I don't know if we go through this. I I am interested the things we changed. >> I'm well I'll just say that every year we have you look at these um this policy and and recommend approval of a policy for the current year. We take that to the city council then for adoption for the planning commission. I did not recommend any changes except for updating dates to current year. So I don't have anything to add to this. So then it's just a matter of if there's anything anybody else here sees that maybe needs to be updated or changed for some reason. >> Mr. Chair, I have a commission. There's references to city administrator here. I think you need update for example section 214. >> Yep. Thank you. We will you can make those changes to city clerk for all of those. There's a few more >> are there any other changes? >> I I see you changed the the No later than Friday before the meeting >> was before. >> We agreed to that last year. >> Okay, >> that's the same as this year. I don't have anybody see like to make a motion to send this to the city council. >> I'll make a motion as long as we get the city administrator updated. And I will make a motion to accept the policy for the time zone. >> Commission per made a motion. Does somebody like to second this motion? I can second that. Carlson second it. Any discussion? Seeing none, we'll call for the vote. All in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed. Motion carries. Uh, I'm going to ask our planner. Is there anything else you anything you want us to look at? >> No, we have nothing else on the agenda. Um, but I do want to say that it's been a pleasure working with you um these last couple of years and I'll I'm very sad that you're leaving us. >> Well, thank you >> and thank you for your service to the city. >> I' I'd like to recognize one person that was uh our building inspector for 25 years. He passed away and his funeral is going to be uh Friday at 12:00 at their funeral home in in Elker. That was 12:00. Benny Amber. >> I know some of you know Benny. >> He uh he served 25 years for Kum Rabbit's uh >> building inspector. building inspector and also I don't know if he served here 25 >> he did not serve here 25 years but yes he did serve here >> because we did not have a planner back then >> we no but we still had a building inspector >> yeah he came to our he was each one of our planners only means but uh some of you people in the crowd know who Benny Eden was he goes because I know and as long as I see people out here in the crowd I believe the people was on the on the city council when I was went to planning and zoning was uh Donnie Miner, Dennis B, Dwight May, Henry Moose, and Ernie Kry because there are some of the Moosees here tonight that's related to me through my sister. So, uh they're here today. So, their uncle's great uncle, whatever it was, grandpa, whatever was was on our city council at one time here. in. So that's that's quite the history. Uh and as I think back to our uh the planning and zoning like Harvey Greenberg was our very first uh chairman planning and zoning he only had it a very short time. Then Melvin Johnson was co was appointed and Melvin must have had it I don't know 15 20 years I've ever worked out. and Fred Ro was after him and Fred had a 15 20 years the chairman of planning and zoning. So uh we have quite a history here now and most you people uh I don't know well Kelly was born here so she's been around here quite a while >> I think you guys in the crowd are here Swanson Mr. Swanson Kelly's her >> daughter funds has been around here forever that know that >> but anyway if there's no other business will last motion can be made for a journment. >> I'll make the motion to journ the motion. Do we have a second? >> I'll second. >> Commissioner Jorg is seconded. All in favor say I. All right. >> All right. Before anybody goes anywhere, yeah, we got to give you an >> beautiful by the way. >> It is. So, Mr. Ames serving 50 years for the Wilurns Township and the city of Nland. Can you take a picture? So this is a just a fantastic I want to shake your hand and say I don't know anybody that served our community for 50 years. So it it's just an amazing accomplishment. I want to just tell you thank you from u the city staff. Uh we very much appreciate that's a lot of dedicated time. So thank you so much. So if we give Mr. streams a round of applause IN hang on the mantle. So, so last time with the gabble for you people that can't because I think the moosees there's several moosees here and ex moosees and whatever you want to call them. So there should be coffee and cookies
