Give one more minute and we'll get started. We're going to call this meeting to order. Today is April 29th uh at 6 o'clock and we'll start with the pledge of allegiance, please. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Mr. Boils, will you lead us in roll call, please? Yes, sir. Mayor here. Mayor H. Thank you. Uh council member Rian here. Council member Glass Glacer here. Council member Rainville present. Council member Swinson here. Uh, attorneys sites here. Uh, administrator assistant Riley here. Building official Trader here. And I'm Frank Woods. Thank you. All right. Thank you, Mr. Boils. So, we'll go on to um approving the agenda for tonight. Mr. Mayor, Councilman Randle, if there are no um changes, I approve the agenda as presented. Mr. Mayor Blazer, I'd like to move um from the consent agenda items A, uh B, C, and D. Down to new business, please. ABC D, excuse me. Uh, not not D but E. AB, ABC and E. Okay. Recommendation is for ABC E. Yes. Use an echo. Yes, sir. Any other discussion on the agenda? Mr. Chair House member um with I know under consent agenda there is a item to keep the projector but is that necess to keep the projector but if that's is that necessary knowing that we already passed the motion to to acquire it at a previous meeting I don't believe it's necessary Mr. Mayor Council Rainbow. Um, this is clarification. The previous request for council action was to come back and do a final approval. We had 30 days to test it out and to do a final. I don't believe that was the motion that was made to pass it, but whatever. I looked at it didn't put anything in the consent agenda. Okay, that's I looked at the same way. I would also like to uh in um I would like to add something just so I can provide an internet update uh to the community. So I got a short update on the on the internet. So if that could be item number um I'll say uh 54 3 2.5 whatever we want to call it. So I can just provide a quick update to everybody. And if I may ask a question Mr. Mayor. Um the reason is there a reason why we don't have a public forum this evening when this is a technically a the full council meeting. Yep. So, there's no public I was going to actually make that announcement after we approve the agenda. There's no public forum tonight uh specifically because we've got a lot of agenda items to cover and we're going to discuss the personnel policy in depth. So, this could be a three or uh two or three hour meeting and it could be long. So, we will have our next open uh we have an open form for the whole council on May 8th and the next city council meeting will have an open form on May 13th. So, that's why there's not an open form on your Mr. Mayor, is is the is who's just I'm just curious. Is is that something that you're deciding on or is the council decided whether or not there will be an open forum at a specific meeting? So, yes. Yes. I looked at that as an option to remove so we can shorten and get through a whole meeting. So, no, the whole council did not approve. Okay. And Mr. Mayor, I'm also wondering if you could make an update on uh the the May 8th forum about the uh if there is a the what process we're going to use and and what's what the the planned uh like a planned agenda for that evening so people can know what's going on since I believe that would be our next meeting that's coming up. It is our next meeting. Nothing has been published yet. So, this agenda did go out to everybody um and so it has been it's been out there. So if there's questions on not having an open form um doing it at the meeting, I I understand asking the question, but it's been out there for multiple days. So my second question was, could you mention more about the open the open meeting on the the town hall that we're going to have or whatever you'd like to call it on May 8th? Yes. Thank you. Yep. Yep. Absolutely. We will publish an agenda for what that's going to look like. That's a very legitimate request. All right. With that said on the agenda, you want to make a motion council. Excuse me. I think you need to open this up. Okay. You're absolutely out of order. It's not your turn to talk, sir. Tonight is not that night. ask tonight is not tonight. There is no open the agenda isn't published. I think the issue, Mr. Mayor, is the fact that the decision was made without the rest of the council. And to say that the agenda went out several days ago, for us to have a discussion about adding an open forum would be a violation of open meeting law. So the decision was made without the consent of the entire council. The decision I'm assuming the decision was made by yourself. The decision was made and there was no council vote. We were trying to get through the agenda. So we took it out rather than We're not taking comments right now from the audience. Mr. Mayor Council, go ahead. Um, if the audience chooses to continue, I move that we adjourn the meeting. If we can't move on with our business, so again, we're trying to conduct a business meeting. If the audience is not going to allow us to conduct that business meeting, then I move to adjourn. I'll second that motion. Okay. So, we'll open it for vote. All in favor of those say I. I. I. Motion carries. Meeting adjourned. Very simply.
