Yeah, it's been kind of worse and worse. I'll call to order the Anoka County H uh for November 12th, 2025. Um we'll do the role. >> Trusty Heinrich >> here. >> Trusty Brasted >> here. Trusty Gamash >> here. >> Trusty Jeepson >> here. >> So, we have a little smaller crowd, but we still have a a quorum. Uh, we have an item number three, which is the approval of minutes from the AC board meeting of October 28th, 2025. Do I have a motion? >> So, move second. >> Moved by Commissioner uh Trustee Jeepson and seconded by Trustee Breaststead. Any changes? Nope. Um, all in favor signify by saying I. I opposed. Hearing none, it passes. I have no chair's remarks this morning. Uh we're going to move right to item number five. Consider approving the renewal of insurance premiums for AC a senior building facilities in the amount of $156,76 for coverage from September 1st, 2025 through September 1st, 2026. Tanya, >> uh chair, trustees. Um this is just our annual um insurance spill. Um it actually surprisingly went down just a little bit. >> Um few thousand dollars. Um but these just come in from um risk and so we just bring them to you when we get them. And obviously the hope would be to have it done before the next the other one expired. But last year we're a whole month ahead of time from last year. So these are just the numbers and it includes the the Royce building um while we're still holding it too. So >> Okay. Okay. Oh, good. That's right. We have that on there as well. Okay. >> Um, well, it's nice to have an insurance premium go down. >> Yeah, I was a little surprised. >> That's um that might >> we must be doing the right things. >> We must that building. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah, that [laughter] Yeah, that that could that very well could be. >> Oh, way to way to ruin the high. [laughter] >> Well, it seemed like a little bit of a fluke, so you know. >> So, any questions from anybody? Okay, this is a roll call vote, correct? >> Yep. >> Trusty Brad, >> I. Trusty Gamash. >> Hi. >> Trusty Jeepson. >> Hi. >> Trusty Hinrich. >> Hi. >> And that passes. Uh the next item then is consider item number six. Consider approving the county's participation in Minnesota Housing Finance AY's MA MHFA um plan year 2026 startup program for firsttime home buyers. There's no cost to the to participate in this program. And Tanya, can you tell us a little bit about >> Sure. Um, this is a program that you guys have been um, party to for many years. It's a very easy program now. Um, back in the day, you had to actually pay for bonds to be sold and other things. And now they've sort of streamlined it since we just have to get permission to submit an application and then we're party to the the the proceeds of that that sale of of of bonding. So what it it does is that allows a little bit lower interest rate loan um to be funded with those those proceeds and then along with that comes some down payment assistance program money too. So if you look at the I think our our um there's a requirement a minimum number amount that we that we tap into every year. And again this is all just private market stuff. They go through Minnesota Housing's um lender list. Mhm. >> Um but there's like a minimum of $6 $6 million that we have to that we have to get otherwise that would get swept and and moved over. But we always get more than that in in Noa County. As you saw, there's like 20 uh 30 almost $30 million worth of loans last year um along with um couple million dollars of down payment assistance. So it's a super easy way for us to be party to um helping people get into home ownership. >> Yeah. Uh on that chart you there's a number that says percentage of usage. Is that it's small uh print but is that 421%. >> Yes. Of of our of what our of what our allocation was. Yeah. So we're way over getting a lot more people in it. Um and that's you know it's a super easy program. you, you know, once you go on to Minnesota Housing's website and find a lender that participates in Minnesota Housing's programs, >> then they can help you get into the this this little bit lower interest rate loan program and then it comes with some down payment money. >> So, usually when people call, the first thing I do is tell them to go to Minnesota Housing's web page and start looking for a lender. >> First, go and do some home ownership training. So, I give them the Minnesota Home Ownership C Center's web page and then go back and find a lender that's on there because if they don't the if your lender is not on that list, then you can't access these funds >> because they have to go through training and they have to pay and they have to make sure everything all works together. >> Um, so they they do Minnesota Housing does most of the leg work for us. So, we just kind of you guys approve a resolution for us to apply and and sign off on an agreement and then we just kind of get to ride that wave. >> Excellent. Any questions? Okay, seeing none, um this is not a roll call vote. So, all in f we'll need a motion in a second. And likewise for the um previous item for the insurance premium. I didn't get the motion and second for that either. >> Oh, okay. >> So, >> so we need a motion for item number five. >> So moved. >> Moved by uh uh Trustee Brasted. Do I have a second? >> Second. >> Uh Trusty Jeepson. That was for item number five and we did the roll call vote already. Item number six, we need a motion. >> So moved. moved by trustee Jepson and seconded by >> second >> trustee Hinrich. Uh so having a motion in a second. If there's no other discussion, all in favor signify by saying I. >> I opposed. Hearing none, it passes unanimously. And then that is all we have on it. Anything else to come before the board this morning? >> Nope. No. Next month will be a little busier. Okay. >> Five or six items next. >> All right. >> Because of course you got to get everything done quick before the end of the year. So >> that's right. That's right. Thank you so much. >> Thank you. >> If you have questions anytime, please reach out like you're doing with other things. But if you have questions on anything we're doing, just let me know. >> Thank you, Tanya. >> We are adjourned.
