hi I'm fire chief Andrew Hager with the Chanhassen fire department today I'm here at the country and its sweets in Chanhassen this hotel is slated for demolition in a couple of weeks uh but prior to that happening the the staff and the team were gracious enough to let firefighters use the hotel pool to practice some of their ice rescue skills um the firefighters entered the the water today in cold weather emergence suits and practice rescuing a victim from the water simulating an ice rescue while we weren't doing this on the ice itself this still provides realistic training opportunities such as putting on the suits um operating in them using the ropes using various tools techniques and tasks to rescue a victim from the water how you doing I'm the fire department what your hey Matt I'm going to throw this over your right shoulder grab it wrap the Roker off will pull you in okay we got you you're at the edge you get up roll great job swi towards [Music] me what's your name I'm yeah down ready
