[0:00] [Music] [0:11] [Music] [0:19] usually we start out like prepping [0:21] athletic fields dragging baseball fields [0:23] getting everything ready for games that [0:25] happen later in the day and then we'll [0:27] split off and do like mowing and we do [0:30] playground inspections yeah we're just [0:32] rolling into spring now so every [0:35] springtime we go through the entire city [0:38] we drive every single mile of roadway [0:41] and check for potholes along the entire [0:44] system and then it's kind of any odd and [0:47] end jobs that relate to to street [0:49] maintenance from there [0:52] [Music] [0:58] heat heat [1:05] [Music] [1:14] [Music] [1:17] and mainly in the wintertime we do u we [1:20] take care of all the city buildings we [1:21] plow 106 miles of trail also in the [1:24] winter time we take care of nine ice [1:26] rinks i think one important function [1:28] public works has is making sure that [1:31] everything's safe in the city keeping [1:33] the roads safe and inspecting [1:36] playgrounds and making sure they're safe [1:38] for the kids uh I really enjoy the the [1:42] variety and all the different people [1:44] that I meet every day i I enjoy helping [1:47] out our residents and in dealing with [1:50] their [1:52] issues heat heat [1:55] [Music] [2:08] [Music]
