[music] At Monday's city council meeting, council unanimously approved an update to Lake Minawasha's slow no wake ordinance, raising the trigger level from 945.0 to 945.5 [music] ft and shortening the lift period from 3 days to 1. The ordinance seeks to balance better shoreline protection with recreation, [music] and the DNR review of this ordinance is expected before the 2026 boating season. Saturday, November 29th is Small Business Saturday. When you shop local, you're supporting families and helping build a stronger community. Grab a coffee, shop at a new shop, and see what [music] other surprises you'll find when you shop local here in Chanhass. The solar panels are now installed on City Hall's roof. They're currently [music] being connected to our electrical infrastructure. They'll provide energy to offset roughly a quarter of the building's power needs. We have two upcoming open houses here at city hall. The first is on November 18th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. and that topic will be the Pleasant View Road Improvement Project. And there'll be one more the next day, November 19th, 4:30 [music] to 6:00. And that one will be on the 2026 Street improvement project. There won't be any formal presentations, but stop by and ask any questions you may have and learn more about [music] these important projects. November 15th is the last day for drilling operations for fiber optic installations throughout the city. Restoration and cable [music] pulling will continue, however, until the ground freezes. The drilling work will continue next spring and before that happens, we will make sure that you [music] are fully aware of what's going to happen and when. That's it for now.
