[0:00] Hey everyone. It's been a while since [0:01] we've done one of these construction [0:02] updates and wanted to check in with you [0:04] again. Um, as you know, our city hall [0:06] building opened this fall. That was [0:08] phase one. Phase two is City Center [0:10] Park, which is right behind me, which is [0:12] underway. Phase 2 will transform the [0:14] former city hall site into a dynamic [0:16] multi-use park designed for all ages. [0:18] Planned amenities include a playground, [0:20] a playable splash fountain, an event [0:22] plaza, a skate park, pickleball courts, [0:24] and a park building with restrooms and [0:26] concessions. Even though there's snow on [0:28] the ground, there is still work being [0:30] done this winter. And for that, we're [0:31] going to now take a tour with our [0:33] partners over at Krauss Anderson, who [0:34] will let us know what they've been up [0:36] to, what's happening now, and what you [0:38] can expect to see in the months ahead. [0:40] We're standing at the uh original spot [0:42] of city hall. So, it has since been [0:44] demolished, and what we've been starting [0:46] on is the stage structure, which is [0:48] right behind you, and then also the uh [0:51] park pavilion building. And what we've [0:52] done is kind of tie in the snow melt [0:54] which is the library the sidewalk [0:56] between the library and and the new city [0:58] hall. Uh that's been completed and kind [1:00] of got everything sighted sight graded [1:02] and ready for winter. [1:04] >> Yeah. All of our utilities are in uh the [1:07] sisterin uh water holding containment [1:10] system for the irrigation is installed. [1:12] Pickle ball courts, the skate park, our [1:14] upper northwest northeast parking lot is [1:18] complete. Yeah. Now we're just going to [1:19] work on the pavilion buildings. So, this [1:21] will be the uh pavilion B building. This [1:24] is going to kind of facilitate [1:25] everything as part of the uh playground, [1:27] the splash pad, some of those sight [1:29] features that we're going to be putting [1:30] in come spring. Uh this is going to have [1:33] community spaces, bathrooms, um a [1:36] serving kitchen, uh that kind of has [1:38] that uh window to the outside where [1:40] people can kind of come up and get their [1:42] ice cream cones. Once this all thaws out [1:45] and construction work re begins with [1:48] abandon, like what will residents kind [1:50] of notice right away? Like what's your [1:51] top item once we can really get going in [1:54] the spring? Uh all of our site work. [1:56] Like I said, all of our utilities are [1:57] done, but it's like we still have our [1:59] piles of uh black dirt, clay that we [2:02] still have to haul out once we tolerance [2:04] everything. And yeah, just start sight [2:06] conquer.
