[0:02] It is Thursday, July 10th, and this is
[0:04] the Chan Check-in. And we had a
[0:06] fantastic 4-day July 4th celebration.
[0:09] And you should meet someone who helped
[0:10] make the entire event such a success.
[0:13] Pria Wall, who is the parks and
[0:14] recreation department's recreation
[0:16] manager.
[0:18] Thanks to everyone who came out to
[0:19] celebrate with us and a huge thank you
[0:21] to all the staff, volunteers, and
[0:23] partners that helped pull it off. The
[0:25] event was a big success, and we can't
[0:27] wait to do it again next year. Speaking
[0:29] of great events, night toite is just one
[0:31] month away. Okay, a couple quick
[0:33] construction updates for you. A full
[0:35] closure of Highway 101 on July 18th.
[0:37] Weather pending.
[0:38] Full weekend closures of Highway 5
[0:40] sections near us on these dates.
[0:42] Weather pending.
[0:43] And the extended closure of the 82nd
[0:45] Street and Bavaria intersection begins
[0:47] July 15th.
[0:48] Weather pending.
[0:50] As the Civic campus goes into phase two
[0:51] of construction, this skate park is
[0:53] being moved from here to here. This new
[0:56] location will feature a much smoother
[0:57] surface for skaters and is estimated to
[1:00] be completed by summer of next year. And
[1:02] finally, starting this Saturday, the
[1:04] Chanhassen Farmers Market is going to
[1:06] move oh so slightly from here to over
[1:09] here thanks to some fencing that's been
[1:11] put up for phase two of the new civic
[1:13] campus. All right, that's a lot of
[1:14] construction. That's a lot of fencing.
[1:16] We appreciate your patience. It all just
[1:18] means that Chan Hassen has a lot of
[1:19] exciting things happening. That's it for
[1:21] now. We'll check in with you next week.
