[0:04] Hi everyone, Drew with the Chanass and [0:06] Communications team. We're launching a [0:08] new twice monthly video series that [0:10] takes you behind the scenes in our parks [0:11] and rec programs, events, and facility [0:13] operations. So, let me introduce you to [0:15] the team. [0:16] >> Hi, my name is Pria. [0:23] My favorite event or program that we are [0:26] involved in is the Chan Hansen [0:28] homecoming parade. I think the [0:30] homecoming parade is my favorite because [0:32] of all of the different departments and [0:34] event partners we get to work with and [0:36] seeing people of all ages come together [0:38] and celebrate Chanhassen. [0:40] >> Luke Kegley. [0:46] My favorite program is Febfest. I love [0:49] the community going out and auging all [0:52] those holes. I love just the DJ that we [0:55] have. Um it's a great program. Gary [0:58] Bird. [1:05] My favorite event uh for the city of [1:07] China is Febfest. I absolutely love ice [1:10] fishing. So, it's really fun to be out [1:12] there and witnessing all these people [1:14] engaged in that activity. You know, we [1:15] get everyday anglers and people who are [1:18] trying it for the first time. So, it's [1:19] very accessible and a lot of fun out on [1:21] the ice. [1:22] >> Mary Blazinan. [1:29] >> I actually with the senior center, I [1:31] think my favorite programs are the trips [1:34] we take because I get to explore new [1:36] places, see shows I wouldn't normally [1:38] see, have lunch with great friends, and [1:40] just take a day to be out and about. [1:41] Those are my favorite. Jodie Sorrows. [1:49] So, my favorite event is the Barnyard [1:51] Boogie, and we host that every fall. We [1:54] have farm animals, we have music, [1:57] dancing, crafts, snacks, just a really [2:00] fun time for the kids and families to [2:02] get out and and enjoy the fall here in [2:04] Chanhassen. Jerry Rugerr. [2:12] My favorite event with this city has to [2:14] be the 4th of July. Obviously, we've [2:16] offered this um program for uh several [2:19] decades that really brings families [2:21] together. So, that brings us as uh staff [2:23] members a lot of joy that we uh uh bring [2:26] to the community. It really brings [2:27] people together uh really for an annual [2:30] like almost reunion with family and [2:31] friends. So, that's really one of my [2:33] favorite events.
