It was a very [music] special city council meeting this Monday here at city hall because city council proclaimed January 27th as Rick [music] Rice day. If you didn't get to know Rick over his 41 years of service to the city, let me tell you about him. Rick started in 1984 as a paid on call firefighter and later served as the city's IT [music] manager. He has been a great colleague and public servant. And Rick, everyone here and throughout Chanhassen will miss you as you embark on your next [music] chapter. By the way, if working for the city sounds as good to you as it did for Rick, we have a number of summer internship opportunities available now on our website. You can be an intern for [music] parks and wreck, for engineering, for water resources. You can join us >> as an intern [music] on the communications team. >> So, head to chanhassenm.gov/job to apply. >> [music] >> Sarah is the city's fantastic communications specialist who designs our quarterly Chanhassen Connection magazine, >> and it should be [music] in your mailboxes by now, so I hope you'll check it out. It's jam-packed with goodies, including what you can expect around [music] town in 2026, important upcoming election information, ebike info, a review of and update on last year's road projects, and so so much more. >> All right, we've got a lightning round special mystery edition this week. What do we have? Oh, Fubfest, February 7th. Now with extra thick ice conditions on Lake Anne. Okay. Behind door number two. Ah, the sweetheart dance February 6th at the Chan Rec Center. All right. Door number three, community gardens. Registration is now open for returning gardeners. All right, last one. Chan Rex Sports. A fun way to get your young one to try something new. Our Rex Sports Sampler gives kids ages 3 to 8 a chance to explore soccer, floor hockey, and more in a supportive, non-competitive setting that's all about building confidence and having fun. Sessions begin February [music] 17th and 18th. So, join us at the Chan Rec Center. That's it for now. Check in with you next week. Oh, I missed one.
