[0:02] Another one. [0:04] Another social media comment. Another [0:05] question about recycling plastic bags. [0:08] What are we going to do? [0:09] There's only one thing we can do. [0:14] Emergency. Recycling emergency. [0:16] Recycling emergency. [0:20] [Music] [0:24] Never fear, the recycler is here. [0:27] The recycler. [0:28] Thank goodness you're here. People are [0:29] commenting on our latest social media [0:31] videos, [0:31] the ones about putting plastic bags in [0:34] the trash bins, not the recycling bins [0:36] in our public parks, [0:37] and they want to know if there's an even [0:38] better way of how to dispose of them. [0:40] When I set out to inform our citizens, [0:43] my main goal was to keep plastic bags [0:45] out of recycling bins. And now you're [0:48] telling me that our fine Chan residents [0:50] want to do even more. [0:51] That's right. So, what do we do? [0:54] I think I know just the place that could [0:56] help. [0:58] [Music] [1:03] The recycler, what are you doing here? [1:04] You're here to drop off some household [1:06] hazardous waste. [1:06] No, I need [1:07] electronics. [1:08] Nope. [1:08] Compost? [1:08] I mean, [1:09] tires, scrap metal. [1:10] No, I [1:11] Mattresses, oil, batteries, [1:12] plastic. Plastic bags. What do we do [1:15] with plastic bags? Do you take them? [1:17] Yeah, we take plastic bags, plastic [1:18] film. Basically, anything that you can [1:21] push your finger through. As long as you [1:22] can push your finger through the [1:23] plastic, uh, it can be recycled here. We [1:26] don't take garbage, household items, [1:28] wood, lumber, plate, glass, windows, [1:32] ceramics, toilets. There's a list of [1:34] everything we take at carver [1:36] countymn.gov. Just search the [1:38] environmental center. [1:39] You hear that, Chanhassen? Plastic bags. [1:41] Keep them out of the recycling bins, but [1:44] if you want to go the extra mile, you [1:45] can take them here to the Carva County [1:47] Environmental Center in Chaska. [1:51] Uh, this is actually employees only. Oh, [1:53] sorry.
