Chanhassen Completes Pickleball Court Renovations at Recreation Center
The City of Chanhassen announced Thursday that renovations to pickleball courts at the recreation center have been completed, with the facilities now resurfaced and restriped for public use.
The announcement came during the city's weekly Chan Check-In video update, where officials also promoted the city's four-day July 4th celebration at City Center Park. The celebration includes carnival activities, live music, a beer garden and the Taste of Chanhassen event on July 3, followed by additional carnival activities, bingo, a classic car show, a parade at 2:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. at Lake and Park on July 4.
City officials also announced the launch of new social media presence on TikTok and Next Door platforms. However, they clarified that social media channels do not count as official public comment venues for city business.
The Parks and Recreation Department oversaw the pickleball court renovation project. Officials did not specify the timeline or cost of the improvements during the announcement.
The city's next Chan Check-In update is scheduled for the following week.
