Chanhassen Marks 60th Anniversary of Historic Tornado
Chanhassen commemorated the 60th anniversary this week of a tornado that touched down near Lake Susan and traveled roughly seven miles through the area. The tornado, which occurred on May 8, 1965, caused no fatalities in Chanhassen but remains a significant event in the city's history.
