I think we should definitely have a fence for the splash pad. I know it was brought up that we didn't want it to be used as a babysitting tool. But for people that have young kids and especially the parking lot right there, I think it's a safety issue.
I personally don't feel that I would like to see a fence. I would like to see the rocks and now that I've I've kind of looked at it a little bit more, I'd like to see those rocks moved more to the outside of the circle, spaced out more with maybe some plantings or something in between.
There's only so much CIP funding coming to the park board this year. So before I go ahead and write the grant and get all that lined up, give a quick update on where that's at.
