buffering all right let's call the meeting of what is it it's it's March 11 11 11th already holy moly okay March 11th to order uh it's 6:30 let's rise and say the Pledge of ALG pleas I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and for all all right with that I'll be looking for any additions to tonight's agenda if anybody has any I've got one I'd like to throw on there uh we do have applications for the parkboard vacancy oh nice I'd like to throw those out and we can talk about that and see who we want to recommend up for that position all right if no other uh additions I'll look for a motion to approve tonight's agenda I'll make that motion seconded all in favor say I I I oppose all right on to the last meeting which uh happened to be on January 14th um is there anything that anybody sees in the minutes from last meeting that uh need to be changed or any comments otherwise I will look for a motion to approve motion second all in favor say I I opposed motion carries all right on to business what do you want to do did clean up when do you guys normally do it yeah when do we normally do it April is it may I thought it was May maybe I thought it was April couple weeks May up and who does it usually did he get rained out the first time last year we did it in the rain remember total knew who's we uh the we do it yep we why we decide when we do it yeah we go out and take a walk with a couple garbage bags and fancy orange vest yellow yellow we don't get orange we're yellow yes there we go was May and September with the it is May okay that seems fine well uh meeting would be May 6th correct May 13 13th because us oh second Tuesday you're right dude can we plan it for that evening yeah 13th yeah yeah evening to be good I work during the day so looks good to me okay um yeah I don't know 5:30 6:30 whatever works for everybody I don't know 530 well 5:30 would be good for me 5:30 is and 6:30 for the meeting yeah yeah yeah so so all we need is an hour it does take oh yeah okay which ditches do you do we actually had to well we've done many a ditches okay you pick one most of them haven't been ours last year we finally did the right one yes oh yeah I didn't come last year it's this stretch isn't it City not County uh it's the closer to the city isn't it it's got to be the city ditches well we go from the from the gra Road what is the gra Road out there to we've adopted like one of the County Trail dit Union yep Union Avenue it I thought it was from to the bridge no no that's what we've been doing that's what we've done that's what you've been doing but it's been wrong all these years yeah well I have done it from the Uptown to the bridge I confirmed it with the county yeah is that the one then we're supposed to do I confirmed with the county that we've been doing it wrong all these years so they which they're not gonna tell you right they sent me the list of like here's what we got on our list of where you're supposed to be doing it wow that's a long ways off parked on Union Avenue last year and then we went West and then we headed east did we go east so you know where this no we did not cross the bridge we're it's this stretch it's just one we did this stretch oh so it's up down to the west then Union West oh yeah maybe it was you're right it was I remember the the bend in the road here yep oh so we go okay yep up to 32 so an hour should be yeah okay yeah we do the trail not the not the road just just yep okay I mean whatever garbage we see we'll pick up I We're not gonna say well that's the road the road ditch we delve in there a couple times we did okay so May 13th 5:30 yeah agreed yep and you meet where at Union on Union yes yep meet at Union uh one person Parks down here Shuffle everybody back or one Parks down here yeah I parked up at the other end last year smaller car leave it at the other end on you can sit in the trunk it'll be fine clone car we used do it all the time right then September would be the 9th yeah okay September 9th same time yeah okay do ditch clean up quick then head back here for the meeting yeah perfect all right outdoor pickle ball court layout for Discovery in blue jay so we've been talking about adding pickle ball court lines and a system out for those two parks I cannot find for the life of me a retractable net system isn't that something I tried five companies they don't have it there you go invent something checked Amazon even yeah can't find anything so it has to be permanent or nothing permanent or nothing Stripes still go down now we need to make it have a discussion of do you put up a permanent pickle ball net that bisects the basketball court or do you have people bring in their own portable net so I have a question yes we have pickall here yes what do they do here do we have a temporary net yep City we bought a net and some paddles and some balls and they're stored in our storage so could we get a second set and and have people like give a deposit and check it out and they can bring it to the court or I probably use their own avoid the deposit we just keep name phone number yeah or whatever yeah we could do that because with that then then you're telling the community yeah it's there you can use it here just come and check it out and I mean that was when you mentioned it Ballard then posts to Anchor uh depends how far you want to go with it we just have a portal one put it together use it play it pack it up bring it back um the set that we got was like 8090 bucks off Amazon we just do that again I I would hate to make it worse to play basketball basically I mean if you could get it outside to you know where it's not a big of a deal like outside the court limits then and we could get one that's easily attachable to some ballards then that maybe be okay but I just I mean if it's being used a lot then maybe but I think just make it available yeah maybe we try it for this year get it striped and then uh because whether or not you put like a job box out there anchored to the ground and then you could have so it's got a lock box on it and just put the stuff in there so it's not back and forth too you know and then if someone wants to use it you just get to the J job box lock boox code I mean the plastic job box isn't that much they about how much do people use it do we know we we've never had it we have no outo Oh I thought that was people were using it anyway okay no no um I think I think I think we have fairly good traffic I think on the basketball courts from what i' I've kind of seen know the volleyball court gets used quite a bit basketball I've seen basketball yeah um so I I don't know you know this be something we'd be trying and seeing where it takes us and that's the step maybe we try it see where it takes us and then we look at something in the future yeah I mean to me if we provide the equipment here they want to do it here just say yeah if you want to use one of the other courts just have to check it out you know have a second set that can be or even two if you have two courts outside that can be checked out and you have you know their name and number you know where it went yep just hand them the bag with all the equipment they can go or they can bring their own or to your point get boxes at each one and call the city for Access what do other cities do do you know just because that way they don't have to come things and then worry fit I don't know how big these things are or whatever what how much space it takes to I mean I like your bag's probably something like that how busy is this one this pck uh I don't know how much it gets used for open gym but we have a group that regularly comes in on a weekly basis to play Pickleball here okay but that's tied with the school system okay Watertown May and we their overflow site okay for pickle ball I mean to me it just makes sense to have a loner for now and see yeah I agree popular let's try it and let's give it a shot yeah because if it gets more popular you can look into something a little more semi-permanent right I agree yeah and they're done using it they could just leave it in the vestibule right propped up in a corner and we'll pick it up on Monday right a day after right that's a great social media post and then yeah whoever whoever's name it's under is liable and correct yeah I think that's good I think so fair enough let's give that a shot and see how how things go and and where that gets us we'll do there's room in the budget to purchase that I think we got 180 bucks for couple I think we got it all right and then when are those getting painted then you said soon I gota I'm I've got uh calls out to companies trying to figure out who does that kind of striping get quotes from them now will that be different color or something than the basketball Stripes that's what I figured kind of like the gimler yeah okay perfect yeah that came out nice that was really nice I peaked at it before I came in here I noticed that last night City CC like oh it smells better in here yeah I went out there when we had baseball meeting um okay uh dis golf where are we at DIS golf uh uh last night at their board meeting mayor luin tentatively approved awesome yes having dis Gulf out at their landsite good woohoo what does tentatively they're on board with it we just have to finalize the agreement okay okay so I'm not concerned about finalizing the agreement it's just they didn't approve anything hard Y in agreement form uh so I'm going to get that touched up with uh mayor Lutheran here the only real change we're going to have happen is get that flipped over proper they have a a farmer come in and hay this land and then mayor Lutheran gets Revenue off of that they've asked us uh just Cooperative since they're losing a little bit of Revenue off that if we would if our guys would go ahead and mow these soccer fields while they're mowing the disc golf course nice in addition to that because mayor Lutheran pays to have this done so oh okay so uh yeah they hire a private company to come in and mow these and since they're going to lose Revenue off of this and the guys are they're going to be mowing the fairways yep we're gonna have two mowers out there anyway um so we'll have them hit those and and with the big one that's not going to take 20 minutes maybe to M it right that's not a huge added expense or anything nope little extra time that seems like a good swap yeah I agree we we get use a big chunk of land for seasonal mowing yeah we're doing a little extra mowing when they're already we're not going to make special trips to mow this we're going to mow this whenever we're already well it it'll be once a week or whenever the guy you know whenever it needs it right if it's dry it probably won't get mowed much yep exactly it okay that's awesome yeah fantastic that was the only condition other they were all on board with it so that was good to see so we'll get that F I'm going to get that red line for mayor Lutheran tomorrow get that sent off to Joel then they can take it to their next board meeting get final stamp of approvals and we'll ship it on up to city council get our final stamp appr stamp of approval and then we'll have a land use agreement in place and that will clear the path for next stages we have quotes for concrete and we have quotes for the baskets or we're starting work on the signage phase now that mayor Lutheran is on board total cost for the disc golf course is looking in that $26,000 range okay are we gonna sponsor like each ho is going to have a sponsor plank boy you jump me on the next subject whole sponsorship I'd like to discuss that um we'll have 19 holes for 19 sponsorships I this point I would like to reserve two potentially as thank yous one I would like to see gifted to Mayor luin as a collaborator in this project and there might be one other if something comes out of this project as another gift so might not but having two out and you're looking at 17 holes for sponsorship um I open to suggestions my knee-jerk on this was a one one time whole sponsorship so lifetime of the course that would offset the capital costs of putting this together for $1,000 that's what I was gonna say like it seems like a good value for an advertisement cost and then if it's perpetual like and it covers the thing like if it seems like a good if there's nobody biting I guess we could you consider otherwise 250 a year yeah or 250 a year then you got to read of the signage like what's a signage cost replacement I guess but a it's probably less than you know that's still gonna what what is that and then I guess it's a m it's a matter of what is where are we talking sign Edge where are we talking you know right do we but where I mean what is this going to look like if this gu and like at a golf course you come up to the hole there's the post it shows this is what the course this hole looks like here here's your here's your PIN over here I just didn't know if they were just going to be flat concrete because the farmer is going to be coming through yep flat concrete but if there's a post there we have baskets but now that's double the whole the post I I'm just I don't want to step on toes with mer Lutheran or whatever it's not going to bother the farmer because we're mowing around the tea boxes isn't that a Prett typical course though that would have a tea box and a I mean a two showing what the is supposed to you know if it's part three part four whatever is right so it's not going to be you just have another plaque underneath it right with sponsorship right you'd put it on that same post y either above or below I guess my theory of just having it yearly is because some a business goes out of that's true you it goes out or some people just you know don't want to have it anymore right I mean yes it's easily I mean if a business goes out it plaque comes up and someone else goes up for the redo 250 250 is a little easier to swallow a year than going straight out asking what's the cost of like a little plaque like I'm not sure oh actually we're depending well what I'm looking at doing is we're starting to get them designs together what the sign might look like when I get the preliminaries of those I'm gonna ask Harbor County if their sign shop can make them right they make them for pretty cheap right they do okay they cost if it costs a hundred bucks to make one of those that's just like anything the business has to just get a pegj and just send it to the you and then you send everything in and they just take off of that for your logo can you give an option of both if you want to do a year yearly membership or a lifetime yeah I mean there's some prob wouldn't be all bad local businesses would probably be fine with that but there's some that are like well I don't know how long my business is going to last you know I mean right or I might move or vice versa but some people you know are Staples in the community and like you know might invest I don't know have the option I I just think 250 if it's yearly you're gonna in the long end you're gonna gain more money you'd make more true as saying you only want to do it for 250 well I'm just 250 people liking it keeps up 350 I don't know 350 now getting greedy over I'm I'm giving Ryan a hard time he's a staple business guy in the community and like he only wants to do the 250 y seven lucky number seven that's goodness oh no I I think I think the option is kind of nice because I think there's certain businesses that potentially May jump on that going yeah let's just do the thousand and then I'm done yeah right is always out there right to Ryan's point you things are tight or things are this or that you know can we just do it and let me take it another angle that it could be you have a business and you say yeah a thousand bucks is great but this is also not if you do 250 a year this is a way that you can annually contribute to the upkeep of the city's Park systems yep right sounds like you're going to be um going to everybody and asking them huh I don't think it's be too hard to I don't either no at that price that's I don't either and I I think I believe and I think that this here will be well used um just from the feedback that we've had in the community yeah um the the dis golfers that I've talked to they're like you know we've talked to Jean we've talked to Jason we've talked to all these guys when is this coming and I'm like hopefully I mean at 250 it's gonna be a fight because of people well why didn't you let me know I would have done a sponsorship well Ste can get on let's hope that that's the case right let's hope so I think with that uh local people local businesses local organizations get first dibs on sponsorship absolutely and then after that anybody outside the community can have a shot at it absolutely yeah I like that yeah awesome I'm excited never never done it but I want to try well it's been a long time to me Frisbee's lucky but I guess not whichever way the winds blowing that people you talk to Nick about tournaments and stuff like that I mean after a year established and get broke in is your people talked about having that type of thing then too yeah the dis Golf Group would like to tie in a tournament with May Rising community Festival nice that' be awesome they don't call them frisbees I'd be kicked out right away wouldn't I frisbee is technically a brand name right Frisbee's technically a versus yeah you call it a Kleenex versus a facial like that perfect is there a signage that we will are are we going to be able to put at 25 for easier recognition of it you mean like a directional thing like you have to talk to mind do I'm sure we'll put it right just outside of the right I know how to play don't they're done that put it on the put a sign just behind the field sto sign so if you put it in put it on that Fieldstone building if you put it in their RightWay they care if you just scoot it outside then they don't have jurisdiction is that 10 feet right on the line one foot right out of it they don't have jurisdiction their property the right away just right there unless you're causing sight line issues so maybe they you're probably going to want that eventually anyway if you're having tournaments and things yeah I would think you'd put signage up in here yeah yeah yep up in here and on the South Side Y ah know you probably do it here and here because this is where people are going to park could put it way put went up on seven 19's right here and one's right here so people are going to be parking in the Fieldstone Parkway this is the intention yeah and that's plenty wide I mean there's no issues of parking or anything there oh it's 44 feet back that's a nice wide street so and this relatively level Sidelines are real good yep even if you're parked double-sided you can still get vehicles through easy right awesome you can put your collisions up on your car when you're throwing well well when I am well oops we'll do a soft open with just us can anybody see that no cameras out there right all right either way long run it's going to be a very cheap thing for us to put in that's great good yeah that's quite the amenity for that amount of money I agree I agree even if we didn't sponsor it like Y no I said hopefully May Lutheran get some good use out of it so and then I'll just touch on the park fund analysis let's look at the finance end of things here so as of the end of February our the park fund CIP was in the negative this is by Design so don't worry too much it was a negative by about $139,000 um been accounting for these items these are all accounted for within the fund balance uh the next major payment coming out will be for the second half of the splash pad um which that'll start up my update on that is March 31st final construction to come back in I don't have hard timelines but said March 31st March 31st yeah they're going have to wait for road restrictions so y that's what they're aiming for what was our um soft open date J what did we decide June 7th got it okay my neighbor was asking could be yeah June 7th would' be good could be open earlier depending on construction but y okay at least we know it's warm by then almost right for sure right just sad yeah well previous communities I've had had Municipal pools in all three of them and we were opening late May early June and that was usually highly dependent on when you could get the kids in from right high school college and that's just getting schools in yet and whatever else in future years if it's if it's beautiful early May and it's steady we'll just turn it on and go and we'll flip it off whenever it's it's like anything anything else fluctuates with Mother Nature right so so looking at the finances we'll have that Splash Pad second payment coming in uh this is something to talk I want to talk about as well the old schoolhouse Trail reconstruction we got our quotes back from that and they're all higher than budgeted um of course so we're gonna have to make decisions on that um I've got some miscellaneous expenses with all these projects DNR outdoor recreation Grant amount we get that after we're done with um everything there so we'll get that money back brings it back into line this is the 2025 Park CIP originally this wasn't in the calculations for the whole thing but being things as they are throwing that back in the mix disc golf course that's my it won't be that but no I'm just throwing a number in there for placeholder yep then we had the donations that are already taken into account from the Lions Club and the mayor baseball club those are accounted for up in there okay so originally where I'm going at with this um year and a half ago when we were doing all this planning my original figure of this was around 130,000 we were going to need to transfer from the 435 fund into park to balance the whole thing out because I knew it was going to be negative for the whole project but early on we decided 435 fund was good is in a good position that it can transfer over still meet the CIP needs of 430 five but then also Shore up the rest for the park fund as well so this is actually coming in lower than we thought it was than we thought right all things considered well that's not all bad so how much over was the yeah depending on the trail where the trail that much by 14 oh okay 90 or 10 101 102 what is the 43 fund uh that's a general Capital CIP so it buys lawnmowers it buys Public Works trucks it would replace the roof on City Hall sure just that general catchall for a bunch of stuff now since I forgot to grab it let me bring it up here no that was there's one there's one from October in there SE plan where's my 60% plans I don't know what to do with them are these my 60% no they're not did I not download the 60% plans jeez Nick what have you been doing all week ah don't even give me started I thought I had playing pickle ball week anyway this will get the point across not perfect but it look something like that these areas in yellow here are where we're putting in the additionals um connections here so when we're looking at this figure and this figure this is the base bit amount and that covers this area the alternate is this stretch here uh because we weren't sure how these bids were going to come in so with the hill there is that going to bring that into uh compliancy yes yeah they got to bring f y yep yes so the Reconstruction will bring everything into ada8 compliance okay that is taken into account with that the area here and the area here in the orange that's going to be egg line with fabric underneath because that's a heck of a lot cheaper than oh AB it right that's it'll clean that up a lot it'll make that a lot nicer yep yep it will so that's what we're looking at uh the GR in the grant we wrote it for 8,300 for the total amount for the old schoolhouse Trail reconstruction so you can see here we're coming in at 102 um now the other question I have if you go back to the map uh at this time does it pay to do to add to the dugouts at the baseball field uh no we've already bid this out okay this is Bid out and we've got prices back okay I'm just curious because I don't know if that's something we wait on and and you know because yeah but yeah if it's already included in there that's that's what it is yep okay we'll make her work uh so this is what we've got for these we might have a no we edited that I edited that so we might be able to do a little cost saving here to the tune of about $7,700 we're confirming with the contractor that had the lowest responsible bid did um Public Works Crews may do the binous Reclamation okay which could save us some money there but we're just confirming if they were going if they were going to Mill in place or if they were actually just going to chunk it out and take it they're going to chunk and take it we could look at doing that ourselves that'll save an additional 7700 yeah we'll probably just throw it behind the wastewater treatment facility until well that's where everything else is yeah if you haven't been back there it is yeah everybody doesn't mayor they just put all their crap in the backyard that's that's I mean so so question I have for you guys we're looking at with this about 101 102 only went uh the grant only has 8,300 so we'll get half of that as part of the grant everything above that is then cost in this whole thing do you want to keep the alternate in there to do it potentially saving 7700 as well keeping this stretch as part of it we just accept it as a cost overrun that's why I show this overall budget figure because this figure has these factors has those factors in already yes yeah how bad is we're looking at what like 11,000 12,000 short on on what we actually where we would have been right if we were going to be at 130 something so if I factor in taking up ainus you're looking at 111 I said a year and a half ago when I was putting together the spreadsheets to try to cost plan it all out I was looking at 125 130 was going to be what the fund needed to transfer over so this is lower than anticipated right I'd say we just do that alter because that road is bad that trail is bad so it's it's busted up there's tons of kids that go up and down yeah and we'll sew even more after this is done and that's a that's a really nice access to have from that otherwise to getting there is a big is it yeah it's a hassle you're right I agree yeah so Kyle and I and the engineer we hopped on a call this morning to talk about this that's where we landed as well you have to cost overrun and that sucks but the finances do work out yeah fortunately even though it's a cost overrun so our thoughts were keep this in as well I agree I agree yeah because it's just going to keep on going on if you do two or three years down the road yeah and it's just going to keep getting worse yeah right so we'll have to do it at some point right we the bandid off and just do it right away yeah yeah with that uh I've got direction that I've got I'm also going to send an email to the DNR seeing if they could adjust our grant award because I have told them we made some adjustments here because of what we thought the cost was going to come in at and I I told them last year we're were thinking about making this an alternate because this is the real Ada stuff Yep this is just would be nice to do because it's getting in bad condition and they were like well we'll talk about it let's see how the prices come in so maybe I can go ahead and ask for extra grant funding if they have it in their coffers available to go from the 80 to the 101 seems like it's such a value like that huge section is 14 and the rest like like it seems if I was the DNR originally you're having that conversation it's like man it's a big chunk you're talking about adding that's a big difference in your Grant proposal like we're talking about you know it's you know 20% increase like that's not crazy for especially what you're getting right like hopefully danr says yep yep we'll amend your Grant either way you can get some extra money but if they don't yeah it's it's not something we can't bear yeah what I want to go at with that one plus you got all the crews out there do it yeah they're here yeah yeah perfect sounds good do need a motion or anything on that nope I have Direction on that okay I'll plow forward with that one Flash Pad is we already kind of discussed a little bit of it more hit that uh I guess I close that didn't I no there it is um like I said uh March 31st they were planning depending road restrictions WEA all that fun stuff but we were able to accomplish more this last season than they had planned so hoping if they can start that get through March ail ail have construction completed awesome then Department of Health has got to come in and license it the plans in specs have all been approved we just have to give the six weeks heads up to the licensing department so they can come out inspect make sure it's all good which it should be CRS does a ton of these Splash PS yeah this isn't their first Rod so then once that's all good to go uh we want ideally we're trying to time Splash Pad first immediately behind we're doing the asphalt work for the trails get that in after that we're going to hydro seed the whole area well reclaim reclaim a lot of this stuff here Green Space it for now we'll make decisions on parking later good Hydro seed get the grass starting to get established that way when it comes to May opening when the weather's finally nice we can have maybe something there yep so it's not a total mud hole yeah hopefully by minor rizing Community Festival things have started to that'll be nice get really established right awesome trying to coordinate this tight see how it all pans out mayor's going to be legit best laid plans as they say awesome it's been a long time coming y then to get that ice rank that'll be Y what do we got to do to get that going about $300,000 we're gonna wait on that one for a little while Oh you mean rink boards yeah rink boards oh not the paving not not the paving that because the idea we had in in house was um do a drive lane since everybody drives down here anyway do a do a drive lane down here concrete all of this so in the summer it's parking and in the winter it's oh ice ring oh I got you for the Ballfield that actually be really nice yeah that would be nice yeah that's what public works and I were Ming around as an idea and put the portable ring boards in there when the winter time pull them out and then it becomes a parking lot I think it's a grand idea what was the wasn't there something that they had to be permanent was that that the grant that was the grant okay if we buy them ourselves we can do whatever yeah cool we need to cover your new business now I'm jumping ahead of the boss here sorry you're okay that's all right I think we pretty well covered everything under business items I'll accept for new members oh right you that's what I was talking about I know I was with you I knew you were going I was like wait new business it pass that down thank you so we had three applicants that wanted to join up at the park Park Board uh first one on the list here was Rose hazy um she lives at uh 58th Street in mayor uh could have pulled this one but I just want to give honorable mention she does live outside of City Limits so I will confirm that she doesn't own property within town if she owns property within town then she qualifies but if she does not own property in town then she would not qualify for Park Board I thought if she had a business as well I mean she probably doesn't but if she had business in town you'd be able to be on the park Port as well double check city code well I don't think she does because she lists down here her experience so she' probably say if she had a business in town anyway right I will certainly double check if the code will load but she has more experience than I do so she can take my spot you're you're stuck you're stuck right away who are residents is at the top set it right up there who are residents of the city except one member except one member who may be a non-resident who is a owner of property within the city on which real estate taxes are paid yeah so a business owner or just another property yeah they could I the way it's written they could own a be vacant lot vacant lot and it would qualify under this because that's real estate tax so I'll double check on that so we have Rose hazy and then we have Lawrence I don't think needs too much introduction right and then Michael lens Jr lives over on Birch Drive where's Birch Drive at Birch is up in is a Hidden Creek no it's Hidden Creek yeah Creek yep up there the middle wow great candidates and how many we have one opening [Music] correct I don't get a vote but I'm always a big Lawrence sfter fan I love Lauren yep Y and nothing against the other ones no and she's got grandchildren and she's committed to she yeah Absolut both of them are um she doesn't have grandchildren her kids aren't old enough yet Lauren is Zach's wife oh yeah yeah thinking her kids are little yeah edit that please yeah disre he was thinking of a different like to strike the last com um but this guy too I mean um I don't know like on but um I mean he has a Masters in Business [Music] Management involved I mean all three are highly qualified yes me Lauren has definitely put in the time yeah she's she's done a lot for the community and she's she they both of them just keep continue to give and give and give absolutely and uh I think that she would be a phenomenal addition um she's a doer absolutely she is yeah yeah she's got a lot of good Insight not saying the other ones aren't but no absolutely absolutely not but and there's no conflict of interest with her running Rising yeah no so yeah I love how qualified the other two candidates are absolutely tough yeah I like rose too actually yeah we could use some of that stuff assume yeah I don't know I I I would have to lean towards Lauren um like I said she's she's put a lot of time and effort into this community she knows Community probably better than most of us do y um you know and if she's she's willing to put herself out there for another task well and they're well established been here 12 years and I don't see them going any well and I mean there again you know Zach's parents are very involved in the community um as a Zach as a Zach you know uh I think that she'd make a great great addition to the uh Park Board that sound like a motion I'll make that motion I'll second all in favor say i i i opposed I'm sorry all V Carri other two yeah keep them um wow super qualified oh sorry real quick on the Disco of course I apologize very very quick on the Disco yes um color theme for signage things like that what I was thinking of since it's a it's a joint venture between mayor Lutheran and the City of Mayor red the red from mayor Lutheran the gold from the city of Mayor and then somebody with way more graphic Talent than I'll ever have makes that look awfully good together right I would throw the black in there though too some black too yeah I think yeah there's got to be some black to to maybe yeah distinguish different things but not to push the gold into more of a like Golden Gopher color we keep true City yeah true mayor color yeah more Iowa state with the red otherwise it'll be absorbed by the school yeah well that's where the talents of a good graphic designer will just say play with that a little is that something that Carver Count's science shop can do then type G figure out okay and then you'll find out what prices are and all that kind of yep okay because that'll dictate where we want to be for charging them too what it's going to cost to make the signs and all that yeah yeah if it's $50 a sign then do we have a designer I know I think we usually go to Winstead to I mean they do signs for us so I mean I've had I've had a couple of volunteers that people know I know her yeah yeah I suppose you would what's that oh Melissa did all that Melissa she did do say might have to uh still ask salting gig there's no conflict now that's right make a motion there you go and on the park where V see if we can go back that too when is she when will she be notified when does she start uh city council has to make final approval so run this up at the next meeting to city council and then she's uh should be able to as long as she can the April meeting okay it's a SE separate thing uh did this did the um the engineer slash counsel or I don't even know who would be on it but uh finalized the uh Trail and sidewalk Plan update we we reached out we did public Outreach maybe it was La this time last year plan um yeah we finalized a bunch of that I've got I'll email you the report okay that'd be great yeah of curious how that turned out I'll email everybody that report well if that is all uh we I will look for a motion to adjourn motion second all in favor hi good meeting guys productive a lot of decisions made
