I'm recommending is that we authorize a request either from this committee or from council for basically a get well plan, um, from the board of health and go from there with it.
the reason we put it with the board of health instead of um the business department or business >> building >> building department... was because these types of homes are proposing an environment that leads to good health.

Um, so it takes a couple of weeks to to get the issue actually resolved.
our current ordinance is not in effect. So, they don't have any data or anything like that.
I don't quite understand when we pass an ordinance how that then gets to the people who enforce it because it seems like this is the third or fourth instance that I've experienced since on council where that gap hasn't been crossed.
I think part of it is what happens on the other side is they don't have the systems to manage our legislation.
we did pass the ordinance uh last Tuesday to put a moratorum on these type of cameras. Um it is currently in the mayor's office.
I've I've received some emails and reports that while um the chief of police has told me in practice they're following policy and above board, um the data isn't quite matching up with that narrative.
