As downtown Victoria has continued to evolve, parking has been one of the most common topics we hear about, and you all have asked staff to take a comprehensive look at our entire parking system in our central business district.

So, tonight we're really just kind of providing the bigger picture of some of the key takeaways, things that we're starting to see with our analysis process.

So, together these perspectives give us a much more complete understanding of those opportunities and the challenges that we're experiencing as it relates to parking in our district.

I think a good pilot would be the spotlight events to try it.

I feel as though the answer to that question is yes, the the study does accurately reflect what the problems are facing downtown. I think that that's brought out by some of the high-level results that that there are various layers of solutioning and we should have an exploration of those those layers.

But, we also have another restaurant that's going to be opening, right? So, I do have concerns about where we're at right now and if we can do smaller things that will help, right?

We still have Highway 5 that needs to be done. And before we start committing large dollars, we we need to see the impact of how that change is going to be happening.
