This [0:12] funding will help bring major [0:13] improvements to the Apple Valley [0:15] Additions neighborhood. Over the next [0:17] several years, Duchess Greening and [0:20] Pennock Parks will see upgrades that [0:21] will reduce flooding, improve water [0:24] quality, and add new playgrounds, [0:26] trails, and creative park spaces. These [0:29] improvements along with the upcoming [0:30] street reconstruction projects will [0:32] provide lasting benefits for residents [0:34] and the environment. [0:37] As Halloween approaches, Dakota Valley [0:39] Recycling is inviting community members [0:41] to give new life to costumes and props [0:43] at the Halloween costume and prop swap. [0:45] The swap will take place on Wednesday, [0:47] October 22nd from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at [0:50] Wescott Library in Egan. Participants [0:53] are encouraged to bring gently used [0:54] costumes and props in good condition. No [0:57] broken, ripped, or stained items. The [0:59] event operates on a leave what you can, [1:01] take what you want basis. Everything is [1:04] free. Items that aren't swapped will be [1:06] donated or recycled. The swap is part of [1:08] Dakota Valley Recycling's broader [1:10] mission to promote reuse and waste [1:12] reduction in the community.
