[0:00] Summer's here and if you're ready for [0:01] some terrific live music, food, and fun, [0:04] then we have just what you're looking [0:05] for on Friday nights with Music in [0:06] Galley Park, presented by the Apple [0:08] Valley Arts Foundation. We have a great [0:10] lineup of free music all summer long, [0:13] kicking off on Friday, June 20th, with a [0:15] concert favorite, Salsa Del Soul, from [0:17] 6:30 to 8:30. This ninepiece orchestra [0:20] plays hot Latin dance music that'll get [0:22] you out of your lawn chairs and onto the [0:23] dance floor for a great night of music. [0:26] On Friday, June 27th, we have the return [0:28] of the inspiring JD Steel and the McFale [0:30] Community Youth Choir along with the [0:32] Mill City Choir. They'll perform dynamic [0:34] pop, jazz, and African music. Now, there [0:37] will be no concert schedule on July 4th, [0:39] but bring your chairs and be prepared [0:40] for some great music on Friday the 11th [0:43] with the popular Twin Cities R&B soul [0:45] artist, Alex Rossi. On Friday, July [0:47] 18th, get ready to rock out with the [0:49] power of 10. This high energy rock group [0:51] features a dynamic rock and horn section [0:53] that will have you grooving all night [0:55] long. We close out our July concerts on [0:57] the 25th with Minnesota's own Mick [0:59] Sterling as he performs songs from Elton [1:01] John's catalog. On Friday, August 1st, [1:04] we have renowned jazz and R&B vocalist [1:06] Patty Peterson and Friends singing all [1:08] your classic jazz favorites. On Friday, [1:10] August 8th, sit back and relax in the [1:12] best yacht rock songs from the 70s and [1:14] 80s with the Lonesome Losers. On August [1:16] 15th, we have a returning concert [1:17] favorite, Michael Monroe, along with his [1:19] special guest, Christopher Jansen, on [1:21] viola. We close out August with our [1:23] final concert at the Kelly Park stage on [1:25] Friday, August 22nd, with Minnesota's [1:28] own premier party band, the Riverside [1:30] Hitman. Get ready to dance the night [1:31] away with this horn infused party [1:33] favorite. And if you thought we were [1:35] done, you don't know the Arts Foundation [1:36] because we have two fun events scheduled [1:38] in September. But this time, the [1:40] concerts will be at Quarry Park off [1:42] Pilot Nod Road, just south of Texas [1:44] Roadhouse. with the first one being [1:45] Saturday, September 6th from 1:30 to [1:48] 3:30. Now, be sure to kickstart your [1:50] weekend by dancing the music from Vice [1:52] Speed Custom, a Minnesota original. On [1:54] Saturday, September 13th, get ready for [1:56] our final concert along with Apple [1:58] Valley's Fall Food Truck Festival from [2:00] 12:00 to 6:30, featuring food from a [2:02] variety of the area's best traveling [2:04] food vendors. Plus, from 12:00 to 1:30, [2:06] come and listen to the music from [2:07] Allegations as they play classic rock, [2:10] R&B, and music from Alligator Records. [2:12] From 1:30 to 3, be sure to bring your [2:14] family as we'll have Kids Dance DJ to [2:16] offer your kids an opportunity to dance [2:18] and have fun. And from 3:30 to 6:30, [2:20] catch the awesome harmonies from [2:22] Minneapolis's own Twins of Franklin as [2:24] they sing their own inspired ballots and [2:26] harmony based rock and roll songs.
