Uh great to uh see you in the audience and anyone online who is watching. Um thank you. Uh so Dr. Daniels. >> Thank you, Director Mickelson. I would like to present to you um policy 209, code of ethics. We've made a few um minor updates to the formatting, making sure we are using inclusive language in describing our um board directors, but that is those are the only changes that we made to policy 209. >> Any comments or no questions, issues? >> It's good. >> Yep. >> Yes. I I agree that just the uh inclusive language is great a great change and so um I think we can do that is just first read at the next meeting. >> Yes. Yes, we'll do first read just to be sure. Uh next uh is uh policy and I'm sorry I did not read off the policy number. Uh that was uh policy number 209 code of ethics that we just did first time as chair. uh for policy committee. So, I'm getting into the flow of things here. Uh so, next up is uh policy number uh 299, student representative to the school board and again uh Dr. uh Daniels uh superintendent will be uh discussing changes. >> Yes, Director Mickelson um policy 299 student representative representative to the school board. We did add language acknowledging that our school student schoolboard rep may have an alternate and so we wanted to include that um change into the policy and we also included the the times in which the student representatives would meet with the superintendent to share their um student report prior to meetings. So those are the changes recommended changes for policy 299. Um any comments or >> just a quick clarification. This is basically putting into policy what's already happening. I I assume. Yeah. Okay. That's what I thought. Thanks. >> Cool. >> All right. Uh I don't have any additional uh comments and questions. So uh also first read for the next meeting. Thank you. All right. Uh this is also uh being presented by Dr. L Daniels. >> Thank you um director Mickelson. Again, school board member development. We have no changes to this policy and we have referenced um MSBA's model policy and they are recommending no changes as well. So this is a policy under our regular review cycle. >> Yeah. >> Any kind of comments about what we have? Great. Uh that'll be on consent at the next meeting. Thank you. Um so moving on to uh number uh policy number 213 uh school board committees uh also with Dr. Daniels. >> Yes, Director Mickelson. Again, this is a policy under our um annual review process and we are recommending no changes in accordance to the recommendations that have been provided by the Minnesota School Board Associations. Anything that >> Oh, good. >> All right. Uh no, no questions or um comments. Uh so consent as well by the next meeting.
