[0:03] So for me being involved has like made
[0:05] it really easier for me to be outgoing
[0:08] especially because um I've given like a
[0:11] bunch of public speaking a bunch of just
[0:14] like meeting new people and like from
[0:16] other groups and just like getting to
[0:19] know them and how they run their groups
[0:21] which has like helped me to become a
[0:22] better leader. I am like helping with
[0:25] setting up everything, helping with
[0:27] emailing, helping with like u making
[0:30] sure that the events actually happen and
[0:32] talking to all of our principles and our
[0:34] liaison and our superintendent to make
[0:36] sure that like all of our cultural
[0:38] events actually take place, especially
[0:41] for culture week, which was really fun.
[0:43] And that also definitely helped me to
[0:45] like be more open about my culture
[0:48] because before I was like really I
[0:52] didn't really know about my culture that
[0:53] much and with all the groups it like
[0:55] made me feel more
[0:57] um supported and more like I can be
[1:00] myself around everybody else here which
[1:02] was really nice and also just helped me
[1:05] to enjoy high school more I feel like
[1:08] because it gave me more of of support
[1:10] system and it gave me more of
[1:12] uh friends and like I had like a little
[1:16] family here which was really nice.
