[0:02] Today we have a special episode of the feed and five that is everything top the tater days
[0:05] city sponsored events. If you haven't already mark your calendars now. The festival will run
[0:10] Thursday June 26th through Sunday June 29th in downtown Farmington. You won't want to miss it.
[0:15] First up is Thursday Thursday which is on you guessed it Thursday June 26 from 6:00 to 9:00
[0:20] p.m. Farmington Liquors sponsors this event and will have 20 plus vendors with tastings
[0:24] available. The cost is only $15 to taste and of course you need to be 21 and up. Families
[0:28] are welcome as there will be food trucks, too. Next up is the Tater Trot on Saturday, June 28th,
[0:33] starting at 8 a.m. It's the same run with a new name. Young and old alike love this race. It's
[0:37] a runner's dream. A scenic and flat course in an urban rural setting that is sure to please
[0:41] the most elite runner. Tater Trot is part of the Ground Pounders running events brought to you by
[0:45] the SORR Communities of Farmington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Lakeville, and Rosemount. Register
[0:50] online at FarmingtonMN.gov/TaterTrot /tater or race day starting at 7:00 a.m. The puppet wagon
[0:56] will be in Town Square at Third and Oak Streets on Saturday, June 28th at 9:00 a.m. This is a
[1:00] summer favorite and will be at Top the Tater Days. Puppet shows are free and everyone is invited. All
[1:06] aboard. The Model Railroad Club will again host an open house at the Rambling River Center. On
[1:10] display will be trains, trains, and more trains. In addition to the permanent display, they will
[1:14] also set up a portable display in the arts and crafts room. This event is sponsored by the Model
[1:18] Railroad Club and Farmington Parks and Recreation. Looking for a used bike at a good price? We will
[1:23] be auctioning unclaimed bikes acquired by the Farmington Police Department on Saturday,
[1:26] June 28th, starting at 11:30 a.m. under the big tent. Many of these bikes are in good shape,
[1:31] and some may be good for parts only. This auction benefits the Rambling River Center. And finally,
[1:36] Kiss the Pig will be Saturday, June 28th at 400 p.m. The candidate that raises the most
[1:41] money will pucker up on stage during Top the Tater Days. Don't miss the Big Smooch.
