hello I'm me andreac and here's your first Community Roundup of 2024 we have a new business to welcome to town my current obsessions Company open their doors in the West View Center Mall offering many gemstones crystals and other unique gifts we the radkey and warhouse your accounting firm has had a change of scenery moving into a Sleek new office a ribbon was held to celebrate the occasion so after 17 years of being in downtown Hastings we kind of all grew our space and it got a little cramped um things fell into place and this building became an opportunity for us so it's working out very well the Hastings High School wrestling team went to the state tournament late February with the individuals taking place shortly after round one for Hastings versus Albert Lee was a loss at 33-32 and lastly round three between Hastings and Wilmer for the consolation Championship was a loss at 35 to 25 Hastings sent a total of four girls and nine boys individuals to compete and a total of five Raiders made it to the podium with Trey pisel taking sixth place Gareth stiny taking fourth place Ivy brandenberg and Blake bisel took third place in their respective contests and finally Skyler Little Soldier took first place for the third time excellent work [Applause] Raiders getting into the meat of things Hastings tastings was held for its 27th year with guests able to sample food from restaurants All Around Town it was shrimply the best so this event is just an amazing um collaboration of the whole community right because there are amazing restaurants and the drinking establishments who have all shown up tonight they donate the food that they bring tonight they always bring their aame and then the people who come in and buy a ticket a $40 ticket will feed a family of four for over a week and so as we come in and we get to eat this delicious meal we're also providing those meals for others in our community that's all for a community Roundup be sure to stay tuned next time for more from hctv
