First up, we got to [0:18] get the tripod set up. So, generally I [0:21] kind of like to start just extending the [0:23] legs all the way and then I adjust it [0:27] down to a point that is comfortable. And [0:29] of course the other camera operators can [0:31] change this later to whatever their [0:34] height needs are. We have some really [0:36] tall camera operators, let me tell you. [0:38] Yeah, that looks about good. [0:41] Once that's all stable, I kind of make [0:43] sure it stays in place. Get the legs all [0:46] tightened up and locked. And then from [0:49] here, you also have to make sure that [0:50] the head up here is nice and balanced. [0:53] There's a bubble in the center. might [0:56] have a little bit of trouble seeing it [0:57] just because it's right underneath [0:58] there. I'll try to lift it up so you [1:00] can. But once that's nice and centered. [1:03] Pretty sure that is. Yep. That is when [1:06] we can come down here [1:09] and grab gold camera. [1:12] And uh yes, it does have the plate on. [1:14] That's very important cuz that is what [1:15] is going to allow us to Oh, power cable [1:18] tied in there. That's what's going to [1:20] allow us to put it on the tripod. [1:24] So, I pressed that button in there to [1:26] make sure that it would let it on there. [1:28] And then I tighten that. And that camera [1:32] is not going anywhere. So, from here, [1:36] we get that trusty power cable I was [1:37] just talking about. We have a trusty [1:40] extension cable right here running from [1:43] a power source. Plug that in there. [1:47] And then we come over here and that [1:49] should give us enough length to plug in [1:52] the camera. [1:54] There we go. Perfect. That's what you'd [1:56] like to see. So, you'll see now uh it's [1:58] a little bit bright and the memory card [2:01] is full. So, we'll have to get that [2:02] fixed. But from here, it's pretty [2:05] straightforward. We just got to get [2:06] those sparks that Hunter was talking [2:08] about earlier on. So, if you want to [2:11] come with me, we have a spark right [2:13] here. This is the HDMI spark. So, we'll [2:16] have to go a little bit further. [2:22] All right. So, um, what Hunter did is he [2:26] has totally bamboozled me and sidelined [2:30] me, telling me I'm going to be using [2:31] this thing today. Um, it works basically [2:35] the same way. It sends data over the [2:38] Ethernet cables. Um, but this one is not [2:42] going to be able to mount onto the [2:45] camera. So, I'm actually going to need a [2:47] decently sized HDMI cable for this. [2:50] Hopefully, this will be long enough, but [2:52] uh one thing of note that you always [2:54] want to make sure is that you're putting [2:55] it into the right port here. So, this is [2:57] where our Ethernet goes in. And then [2:59] HDMI out is the wrong one. You want to [3:01] make sure it's on the in port because [3:03] we're sending the signal into the bird [3:05] dog to send over to Hunter. So, [3:10] once you have that plugged in there, we [3:12] plug it into the camera as well. And we [3:15] take our Ethernet down here, [3:18] plug that into there. [3:22] We can go ahead and just rest it on the [3:24] camera bag. And that should be sending [3:26] signal over to Hunter. And as far as [3:28] that goes, aside from, as I said, [3:30] getting some more settings, more precise [3:32] stuff tweaked so that it looks good on [3:34] stream, that's setting up camera.
