Notable Quotes (3)
Uh item 6D is a resolution accepting donations from the customers of Lakeville Municipal Liquor Stores. Uh this is a little over $7,100 that'll go towards the Lewis House and domestic uh violence center. Um item 6E is a resolution accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Um this goes to the police department. This is over a little alittle over $34,650 and this will go towards um enforcement of um impaired driving, seat belt violations, um traffic enforcement, that type of activities. And then the last item is item 6J. This is a resolution authorizing temporary closure of city streets in downtown Lakeville. This is the close Holio Avenue between 207th and 209th Street. And that'll be on Friday, October 30th for the Lakeville downtown Lakeville Boo Halloween.
The number of utility accounts are actually down about 17% from what we did last year, but the amount is about 4% more. So there's more dollars involved.
I just wanted to um state that there still are design uh phases of that project. And um this is more of an overarching approval for uh moving ahead with the financing uh plan for that. Uh but the concerns related to um how that that trail is ab budding their property is still something that our staff has committed to continuing to work with that resident on.
