[0:00] Hi, I'm Katie Bachmire, economic [0:02] development manager for the city of [0:03] Lakeville. Let's take a look at what's [0:05] happening in the city. Dakota Electric [0:07] Association held a groundbreaking [0:09] ceremony on June 26th to kick off [0:11] construction of its new energy center to [0:13] be located at 225th Street West near Air [0:17] Lake Airport. The new headquarters [0:19] project includes a 177,000 ft office, [0:22] warehouse, and storage building and [0:24] outdoor storage for the business. [0:26] Construction is anticipated to be [0:27] complete in summer 2027. [0:34] Downtown Bicycles held the ribbon [0:36] cutting celebration on July 22nd at its [0:38] new Lakeville location in Kenwood [0:40] Commons. The business can be found at [0:42] 9057203rd [0:45] Street West and carries a wide variety [0:47] of bikes as well as bike parts, [0:49] accessories, and offers repair services. [0:52] Lakeville Family Pet Clinic received [0:53] city council approval in July for its [0:55] 9,000 square foot veterinary clinic to [0:58] be located at the northwest corner of [1:00] 175th Street West in Glacier Way. [1:04] Lastly, Pickle in the Middle also [1:05] received approval in July for its plan [1:07] to add a Lakeville location at 2130 [1:10] Juniper Way. The building is currently [1:12] under construction, but when the project [1:14] is complete, the business will have 15 [1:16] pickle ball courts available for 24/7 [1:18] play.
