roughly 60% of our population, they don't even have a child in our schools. Um, yet they pay taxes as well. And so, one of the questions they might have is, you know, why is this levy important to us? >> Yeah, I think there are many reasons all of our communities should care about this levy. Strong schools make strong communities. And so, one thing that I would care about as a taxpayer is how my personal home value is going to be impacted by our schools. And that is one thing that I've talked with a lot of people about. So when people want to move to Lakeville for our schools, that helps everybody. And even more specifically for our business community, a lot of our students are working actively in our business community and internships in the schools. And so they are already bringing their skill set to our business community. This technology also enables them to gain additional skills that once they graduate, they can step right into our business community and start helping shape the next stage of those businesses and overall support the community.
