[0:08] Sweet Harvest Foods began with [0:09] beekeeping in the 1900s and has grown to [0:12] become the most trusted honey company in [0:14] the world. The business first opened its [0:16] Lakeville warehouse and distribution [0:18] location in 2020 in 100,000 square ft of [0:21] existing industrial park space. 5 years [0:24] later, Sweet Harvest Foods is now [0:26] operating out of its own newly [0:28] constructed 360,000 [0:31] ft² facility near the intersection of [0:33] Cedar Avenue and County Road 70, [0:35] increasing the business's Lakeville [0:37] footprint by an impressive 260%. [0:40] Yeah, we chose Lakeville for a number of [0:41] reasons. One of the main reasons was [0:43] close to I35. So the primary reason I'm [0:46] moving to Lakeville initially was for [0:48] warehousing um operations and so I35 was [0:52] a great corridor for our trucking um as [0:54] well as the infrastructure that [0:56] Lakeville had already established uh [0:58] from restaurants, gas stations, the [1:01] community and other businesses that we [1:03] could utilize as we're operating here. [1:06] The new Sweet Harvest Foods facility [1:08] houses the company's corporate [1:09] headquarters, recently added [1:11] manufacturing operations and serves as [1:14] its primary distribution center. The [1:16] Lakeville facility offers a wide variety [1:18] of jobs and has even doubled its [1:20] employee count over the last year thanks [1:22] to its fast growing local manufacturing [1:24] division. [1:25] Yeah, we're the largest uh honey [1:28] producer company in the United States. [1:30] Um we have three sections or sectors of [1:34] the business. Our first one is our [1:36] businessto business where we provide [1:39] great tasting honey to our some of the [1:42] iconic brands that you'll see on the [1:44] shelves uh your local grocery stores and [1:47] um other industries. Uh we also have our [1:50] own brand which is Nate's Honey. And the [1:54] third business of which we've recently [1:55] got into uh is our Nate's eyes. So, we [1:59] own apiaries across the United States. [2:01] Um, and we're one of the top US apiary [2:05] uh company. We have our own bees and our [2:07] hives and produce our own honey. The [2:10] company takes purity very seriously, [2:12] tracking every drop of honey from hive [2:14] to home and tests every barrel to ensure [2:17] a top quality product for its customers. [2:19] Nature Nate's honey products like raw [2:22] unfiltered honey, hot honey, manuka [2:24] honey, and honey minis can be found in [2:27] all major retail stores in Lakeville and [2:29] nationwide. Just look for the bright [2:31] orange labels. As a leader in US honey [2:33] production, Sweet Harvest Foods also [2:35] likes to lead the charge to [2:37] revolutionize the honey industry by [2:39] incorporating robotics and automation at [2:41] its plants in order to provide a safer [2:43] environment for its employees and reduce [2:45] repetitive motions. The business is also [2:48] actively looking to support and improve [2:50] honeybee health and habitats through its [2:52] Nate's hives research grant program. The [2:55] grant program seeks proposals to advance [2:57] research for honey, honey bees, and [2:59] beekeepers. [3:01] Thank you to Sweet Harvest Foods for [3:02] choosing Lakeville.
