The Art Center is a perfect [0:06] place to get creative this winter with [0:08] classes for all ages that celebrate the [0:10] season through art. For young artists, [0:12] we have some especially fun and festive [0:14] projects. In Cotton Snow Globe, kids [0:17] will paint a wintry scene using [0:18] watercolor and mixed media, then take a [0:21] photo of themselves to become part of [0:22] their own snow globe masterpiece. It's a [0:25] whimsical keepsake they'll treasure all [0:27] season long. Our holiday gift workshop [0:29] is all about giving from the heart. Kids [0:31] will create a variety of handmade gifts [0:34] and festive wrapping, learning how [0:36] meaningful and fun it can be to make [0:37] something special for family and [0:39] friends. And in Kids Clay Gingerbread [0:41] House, young artists will design and [0:43] build their very own ceramic gingerbread [0:45] house using clay. They'll add textures, [0:48] patterns, and bright colorful glazes to [0:50] make their houses look sweet enough to [0:51] eat. Adults can join the fun, too, with [0:54] our lineup of fused glass classes. Try [0:57] your hand at creating a shimmering glass [0:58] snowflake, an adorable winter gnome, or [1:01] a sparkling glass ornament. Each project [1:04] introduces the basics of cutting, [1:06] layering, and fusing glass to create a [1:09] beautiful one-of-a-kind piece.
