Taylor Snider officially introduced herself to the Lakeville City Council as the city's new Assistant to the City Administrator. She comes to Lakeville with a Master's degree in public administration from UW-Milwaukee and a track record of government work in the Milwaukee area.

Snider previously worked as a management analyst for the City of Port Washington, Wisconsin, and as an administrative intern for Ozaukee County. She grew up in Fort Washington, Wisconsin, about 25 minutes north of Milwaukee, giving her familiarity with the region's local government operations.

In her new role, Snider will support Lakeville's administrative team on several projects. These include researching how artificial intelligence can be used in local government operations, finding ways to extend the lifespan of the city's vehicle fleet, and improving community services. She also brings experience with city elections and will oversee the Youth Advisory Commission, a group that gives young residents a voice in city decisions.

Snider expressed enthusiasm about joining the Lakeville community, signaling her commitment to the role. Her appointment reflects the city's effort to strengthen its administrative capacity as it tackles modern challenges like AI adoption and operational efficiency.
