Lakeville celebrates wave of new businesses and development
The Lakeville City Council heard an economic development update highlighting recent commercial growth, including a new logistics center, medical clinic, restaurant, and the city's first food truck festival.

Among the highlights was a groundbreaking ceremony for the Lakeville 35 Logistics Center, an industrial office warehouse building located at 213000 Juniper Way. Additionally, Terine Dermatology held a ribbon cutting and grand opening for its eighth clinic location at 17305 Cedar Avenue, Suite 230, in the Summergate Professional Building.
The city also celebrated the opening of Salat Thai Kitchen at 17671 Glasgow Avenue in the Crossroads of Lakeville Shopping Center, which offers authentic Thai cuisine for dine-in and carry-out service. In a community-focused event, Lakeville held its inaugural Food Truck Festival at the Lakeville Area Art Center parking lot, drawing 36 food trucks and live music.
