Lakeville Parks Announces Two Spring Easter Events for Families
Lakeville Parks and Recreation is hosting an Easter Egg Scramble on April 5 and a week-long Golden Egg Hunt starting April 12, with registration now open for both community events.
The Lakeville Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for spring with two family-friendly Easter events scheduled for April.
The Easter Egg Scramble, set for April 5, will feature a light breakfast, Easter-themed activities, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, and a chance for children to pet live bunnies. Department spokesperson Casey encouraged residents to register quickly, noting that spots are expected to fill fast. "Easter is coming up soon so hop to it and get registered for the Easter egg scramble," Casey said in the announcement.
For those looking for a longer adventure, the Golden Egg Hunt runs April 12 through 19. The free event challenges participants to search for four golden eggs hidden throughout Lakeville parks and complete associated challenges. Registered participants will receive clues to help them in their search. "Find the golden eggs and complete the challenges. Clues will be sent out to those who register for this free event," Casey explained.
Residents can register for both events online at Lakeville's city website or by calling the Parks and Recreation office at 952-985-4600. While the Golden Egg Hunt is free, pricing for the Easter Egg Scramble was not specified in the announcement.
