Story2025 Lakeville City Park Building and Shelter Rentals

Lakeville opens 2025 park rental reservations for residents

The Lakeville City Council heard an update Wednesday on the city's park shelter and building rental program for 2025. Susan Johnson, the city's Recreation Manager, announced that reservations are now open for Lakeville residents, with bookings opening to non-residents on March 1st.

Johnson provided an overview of the various facilities available for rent across Lakeville's parks, encouraging residents to book early for popular venues. The city offers both indoor and outdoor options to accommodate different event needs and preferences.

Indoor rental options include the John Henen Pavilion, which Johnson noted is new and extremely popular among residents. Other indoor facilities are available at Ritter Farm Park, Prairie Lake Park, Park View Park, and Steve Maad Park.

For those seeking outdoor shelter, the city maintains several open-air options. Antlers Park is another extremely popular choice, while Casperson Park offers three shelters with scenic views of Lake Maran. Additional open-air shelter options are available at East Community Park, Orchard Lake Park, and Valley Lake Park.

Johnson encouraged early booking, particularly for the most sought-after venues. Residents interested in reserving a park facility can contact the Recreation Manager's office for additional details and pricing information. The staggered opening of reservations—first to residents, then to non-residents on March 1st—gives Lakeville community members a head start in securing their preferred dates and locations.
