Lakeville Liquors has completed a comprehensive renovation of its Galaxie location, modernizing the store's interior and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
Store Manager Scott Matthews presented an overview of the three-week renovation project, which was completed in May, to the Lakeville City Council on Monday. The improvements included new flooring, lighting, and upgraded refrigeration units for wine and beer products.
The way it's laid out, it's more inviting when the customer comes in,' Matthews told the council. 'It's much more wide open and bright, easy to shop.
The renovation replaced existing carpet and wooden wine racks, while also removing the previous tasting bar. The updated space features a flexible layout that can accommodate seasonal changes and special events.
Matthews indicated the renovated space will be utilized for holiday tastings and larger events throughout the year.
