[0:00] Hello everyone. My name is Tia Stoville [0:02] Hearn and I'm the superintendent of [0:04] Randolph Public Schools. This update [0:06] shares some of the great things that are [0:08] happening in our district both [0:10] academically and also extracurriculars [0:13] that are happening as well. There's [0:14] exciting information about the Blue [0:16] Devils team that is on its way to the [0:18] Super Bowl again at Gillette Stadium. [0:21] We've had students in our music program [0:23] who have won awards and are on to bigger [0:26] and better activities as well. The Cogn [0:28] Square Health Center has partnered with [0:30] Randolph public schools and with the [0:32] town of Randolph to open a school-based [0:34] health center within Randolph High [0:36] School. It is open and [clears throat] [0:38] available to the community and we hope [0:40] that you use this uh resource. All of [0:42] our schools have exciting information to [0:44] share about their students um and some [0:47] of the educators. We like to take this [0:49] moment to not only highlight what our [0:51] students are doing, but to also show [0:53] gratitude to the great educators and [0:55] staff who are also working very closely [0:58] um with your students to make sure that [1:00] their experiences here are successful. [1:02] Another thing that is important to note [1:05] is that we have shifted the format of [1:07] the monthly education update. Uh we are [1:10] really trying to take a focus this year [1:12] of partnering with our families and [1:14] keeping communication open. So, we want [1:17] you to understand what is happening here [1:19] and also feel free to reach out. Uh if [1:22] there are if there are [snorts] [1:23] questions or comments that you have [1:24] about the new format, we're interested [1:26] in hearing from you. Uh we plan on [1:28] surveying our families uh in the near [1:30] future to find out what do you think [1:32] about our strategic plan? What are our [1:34] priorities and how do they impact you? [1:37] Um and have you noticed any change in [1:39] the way that we are actually [1:40] communicating with our families? We are [1:42] trying to do a much better job of [1:44] keeping you engaged cuz we know that [1:46] when you're engaged, your children do [1:47] better. We would like to take this time [1:49] to wish you and your family happy [1:51] holiday season for whatever holidays you [1:53] choose to um celebrate.
