Infinite Campus [0:04] is used to update personal information, [0:07] review attendance and grades after each [0:09] term, print student information for [0:11] personal use, view transportation [0:13] information, and view class schedules. [0:16] This video will cover the following [0:18] topics. First time access, how to create [0:20] an account. [music] Subsequent access, [0:23] how to log in after creating an account, [0:26] completing the emergency update [music] [0:27] process, and the campus parent app. [0:30] First time access, how to create an [0:32] account. [music] You will need to [0:33] contact your student school to receive [0:35] their specific infinite campus [0:37] activation key. To create your account, [0:40] begin [music] by going to [0:41] tinyurl.com/196 [0:44] parent key. When the page opens, you [0:47] will be asked to enter your students [0:48] activation key to continue. Choose a [0:51] username and password. The [music] [0:52] password strength meter must reach 100%. [0:55] Click on the back to login link. Then [0:57] login using the credentials you created. [1:00] [music] Align an email address to this [1:02] account for password recovery. Enter [1:05] your new password. Then click save. You [1:08] are now ready to log in. Write down your [1:10] username, password, and email address [1:12] associated with your account if you [1:14] believe you will not remember them. Keep [1:16] [music] your information safe. [1:18] Subsequent access. How to log in after [1:21] creating an account. [1:24] Go to the district page [music] at [1:25] district196.org. [1:28] Click on the top right menu icon. [1:41] In the mobile view, tap on the menu icon [1:44] on the top right. Tap on the community [1:46] tab. [music] [1:47] Scroll down and tap on family resources. [1:51] Select Infinite Campus. [music] [1:54] Once the front page opens, enter your [1:56] username and [music] password. Click [1:58] login. It's recommended that you save or [2:01] bookmark this page for future login if [2:03] you prefer the website over the app. [2:07] Completing the emergency update process. [2:09] You will be directed to complete the [2:11] annual emergency and health information [2:14] review. The first time you log in, you [2:16] need to complete this review process [2:18] every [music] school year. It is very [2:20] important that your student school has [2:22] their emergency information and contacts [2:24] up [music] to date. [2:27] Once the campus parent account is [2:29] created, you will need to complete the [2:30] emergency and account [music] [2:32] information update process. Click on the [2:34] start button to begin. [2:37] When you're ready, [music] click on the [2:38] begin button. [2:41] On the welcome screen, type your first [2:43] and last name. Then click [music] [2:44] submit. You will need the following [2:46] information ready. Household [2:48] information, address and phone numbers, [2:51] parent information, work, cell phone [2:54] [music] numbers and email addresses, [2:56] student information, demographic and [2:58] health medication information, [music] [3:00] and emergency contact information, [3:02] addresses and phone numbers. Click begin [3:05] when ready. In the [music] home phone [3:07] section, enter your phone number. This [3:10] number will be used for building and [3:12] districtwide [music] emergency calls. [3:14] Then click next. In the home address [3:17] section, verify that your home address [3:19] is [music] correct. Answer the questions [3:21] correctly. Enter your current address. [3:23] Then click next. [3:25] Verify that your mailing address is the [3:27] same as your home address. If not, [3:29] answer the questions correctly. Then [3:32] click save. Continue. In the parent [3:34] guardian section, click on full name for [3:36] each parent or guardian highlighted in [3:38] yellow and complete the next four steps [3:40] for each. Verify parent demographic [3:43] information. [music] [3:44] If changes are needed that you cannot [3:46] make, click the email link to send a [3:48] message indicating necessary changes [3:50] [music] and then click next. In the [3:53] contact information, verify or add phone [3:56] numbers or emails. Select the option [3:58] above for the types of notifications [4:00] [music] you wish to receive via email. [4:02] Enter your preferred language and then [4:04] click next. For the seasonal employment [4:07] section, [music] choose the appropriate [4:09] option and then click next. Under the [4:12] military connection section, choose the [4:14] appropriate option and then click save [4:17] continue. When all listed parents or [4:19] guardians show as completed, click save [4:21] continue. In the emergency contact [4:24] section, update or review the emergency [4:27] contact highlighted in yellow by [music] [4:29] clicking on their full name. To add an [4:31] emergency contact, click add new [4:34] emergency contact or click save continue [4:37] if you do not want to add one and skip [4:39] the next four steps. It is highly [4:42] recommended that your student has an [4:43] emergency contact besides a parent or [4:45] guardian. In the emergency contact [4:47] demographic section, enter and review [4:49] the requested information and click [4:51] next. Enter at least one phone number, [4:53] then click next. [music] [4:55] In the verification section, enter or [4:57] review the address for this emergency [4:59] contact [music] [5:00] or select the correct answer if they [5:02] live at the same address shown. Then [5:04] click save continue. Once all emergency [5:07] contacts are completed, click save [5:09] continue. In the non-enrolled household [5:12] members [music] section, enter or review [5:14] any non-enrolled household members. Do [5:16] not enter any people that are listed in [5:18] this area. Click [music] edit review for [5:20] each person listed highlighted in yellow [5:23] and complete the next step for each. [5:25] Once all listed are reviewed, click save [5:27] continue. In the student section, click [5:30] on the students full name for each [5:32] [music] child listed highlighted in [5:34] yellow and complete the next nine steps [5:36] for each. In the students demographic [5:39] section, review demographic data. Do not [5:42] change the enrollment grade. If [5:44] necessary, send an email of requested [5:46] changes using the email link. [music] [5:48] For students in grades 11 or 12, select [5:51] yes or no to the foreign exchange [5:53] student question, then click next. In [5:56] the student race, ethnicity section, [5:58] select the appropriate options, then [6:00] click next. In the student relationships [6:03] with parent and guardian section, select [6:05] the appropriate options for [music] each [6:07] listed parent or guardian using the [6:09] description provided. Select [music] the [6:11] contact sequence you would like each to [6:13] be contacted and then click next. For [6:16] the student relationships [music] to [6:18] emergency contact section, select the [6:20] appropriate relationship for each listed [6:22] emergency contact. Select the contact [6:25] sequence you would like each to be [6:27] contacted. [music] This sequence [6:29] includes the parent or guardians from [6:31] the previous screen. Click next when [6:33] you're ready. [music] [6:34] Select the appropriate relationship for [6:36] each listed other household members, if [6:38] any, and then click next. If you need to [6:41] update your students [music] health [6:42] conditions or medications, you will need [6:44] to contact the school directly. [music] [6:47] Click next in this section. Indicate if [6:49] you allow your student to self-care [6:51] medication by answering yes or no using [6:54] the pull down list. [music] In the [6:56] release agreement section, using the [6:58] pull down list, select yes or no to give [7:01] permission for this child to each listed [7:03] item. Click the link if you'd like to [7:06] review each item and then click next. In [7:09] the student digital access survey [7:11] section, answer each required question [7:13] and then click save continue. Once all [7:15] the children listed indicated they are [7:18] completed, click [music] save continue. [7:20] The process is now completed and can be [7:22] reviewed by clicking on the section [7:23] titles at the top or downloading a PDF [7:27] copy. Once you're satisfied with your [7:28] responses, click submit. Your students [7:31] emergency information is now up to date. [7:34] Campus Parent app. The terms Infinite [7:36] Campus and Campus Parent relate to the [7:39] same system. Campus Parent is your [7:41] account that connects to the enrollment [7:42] system, Infinite Campus. You can [7:45] download the campus parent app by [7:47] scanning the QR code that relates to [7:49] your mobile device. You will be asked to [7:52] [music] enter the district name and [7:54] state the first time you use the app. [7:56] Type Rosemont for the district name and [7:58] select Minnesota for the state. Then [8:00] press search. Select Rosemont Apple [8:02] Valley Egan from the list and then log [8:05] in with the credentials you created for [8:06] your account.
