[Music] Students should have a say in decisions and they should definitely give input on how to make their school better place. As a student school board rep, I've got to advocate for my peers. I learned a lot about the workings of the school board and the thoughts and processes that go into making decisions. I feel like I have listened to a lot of people's perspectives and input and criticism and I've evaluated that in order to make the best decisions based on students opinions, we need to hear from the students themselves because the decisions directly impact them. Jackson and I have presented a lot of these findings to the board and that's allowed the board to make decisions. being able to present that in a way that's easy to understand. Stuff like that that really impacts student experience. I think collaboration would be a good word for what I learned. I think that's something I've really gained from this experience. I've learned to hear different perspectives and it's allowed me to kind of assess where I stand and where everybody else stands. And I've also learned about how to collaborate with others. apply and do your best to represent everybody in the school. Be a voice for your peers because that's important. [Music]
